I would face the sub firing into the trunk to have it reflex off the trunk...hits harder ...sounds better I happen to think myself.

How do you like the Taramps amp? I did some quick math and you get 11 watts per dollar for the 30K which is ridiculously cheap. Hopefully they don't fall apart after the warranty runs out. Other brand name manufacturers give you 5 watts per dollar.

Seal off every pin point so no waves go back past box face thats why its louder trunk open but ur losing 2 or 3 db easy
