Critical Race Theory (CRT) is a body of legal scholarship and an academic movement of civil-rights scholars and activists in the United States who seek to critically examine the intersection of race and U.S. law and to challenge mainstream American liberal approaches to racial justice. Problem is, the methodology that CRT proponents use to examine things is shoddy at best. The scientific method says to observe, test, confirm, but they avoid this at all costs. The correct way is to say "There is racial inequality, for example in math scores, so what is the cause?", which is then assigned (B). The next step would be to say "Let’s observe, test, confirm, come at this with a variety of hypotheses, and see what is causing it (A), thus A to B. CRT: "No, there is inequity, therefore racism. B to A." CRT proponents don't see inequality, but rather see inequity which is different and use a reverse scientific method and assign a predetermined cause, racism.

Parents need to be teaching morals and values at home. Schools teach math and science. But, adults also must set a good example always in front of children. We all know kids do as you do, not as you say. This is where I have seen alot of problems in my own experiences. My own family ruining their own children. You can't even take your kids to the grocery store anymore. So many adults have forgotten the basics. Like dressing and acting appropriately when in public. Children are watching. ☮

By teaching values at school, this should compliment, not replace whatever efforts parents make. This ensures every child has the opportunity to become an individual defined by values. Regardless of parenting. And would be a far better use of time than to inject a dangerous opinion into young, vulnerable minds that has not stood up to legitimate scientific scrutiny.

If you don't know the story in Loudoun....the school system hired a consultant to conduct an audit about an NAACP allegation that racism was prevalent among the student body and the parents. They found that nearly all minority students had experienced racial slurs and bullying, and some of the parents as well. They found essentially a hostile learning environment that the district was unprepared to deal with. Then the Virginia AG's Office of Human Rights got involved and conducted their own investigation and found the school district was violating the state Human Rights Act and that something had to be done about it. So the school came up with an "anti-racism plan" that included these diversity trainings. Interestingly, this has been going on for years with zero fanfare. But as soon as Fox tried to link it to Marxism, as they have done over and over when confronted with movements for civil rights, the parent began to rise up. This is a Fox News created movement.

How about we pay tribute to teachers who are doing their job and fighting for what they believe in educating the students to succeed in life and also for the 1000s of parents who would prefer this type of teacher over many others? Btw, there are some good teachers out their who work many many hours making sure that the students have good lessons. I am not a teacher but inspiring to be a teacher who can help students succeed and not just indoctrinate. The main issue in education are Unions who abuse their power and the board of education that don't put students' real education as a priority. The teachers are not the ones who make the curriculum or enforce the curriculum. Think how power is from top to bottom.

I've been teaching since 1986. When there's a mistake in a textbook, I just point it out. If the textbook is full of mistakes, I explain what the mistakes are and move on. If I'm asked to teach something which isn't true, then I simply teach the material in a way which makes the actual truth clear.

You teach them there are winners and lovers in every aspect of the world. You teach them to do their best while teaching them its ok if they lose. The children who will be taught by this teacher in a private school are going to be better equipped to succeed as adults than the children who will have a woke teacher in the public school that she resigned from. The private school children will be doers as adults; the public school children will grow up to whine excuses about why they can't do it. If parents of public-schooled children want this to change, the first step is kicking liberals off of school boards and electing new members who will focus on teaching children the skills of reading, writing, math, and science.
