Grandparents should get involved also. I for one have started checking out our school board and what they're doing. So far they still acting American, but I got my eyes on them.
....starting with the lack of interest in voting at the local level. We tend to only look at the presidential elections; they can only effect us 4-8 years; these career politicians effect us the duration of their career! Wake up America!

There many of us that teach who are more on the right. The problem is that we are outnumbered at our local schools and if we stand up, you can bet they will give us the boot. So, we are doing a lot of behind the scenes work.

we need to be seeing this in MORE counties across the country. enough of this bs. I actually worry for my two young neices, one of which will start school this year.. I shouldn't have to worry that she'll begin being indoctrinated at 5 years old. it makes me nauseated to think about.. these are kids.. I only pray my neices and kids like them have the same sense I did.. question authority.. do it respectfully, of course, but if something doesn't sound right, question it... or talk to mom and dad about it.
It is quite amusing these school board members can't handle when teacher and parents stand up speaking the truth to save our children. All they could do is turn off the mic. What a joke.
sIn fairness, that might just be a rule, to keep people from wasting a lot of time. Once you impose a time limit, cutting the mic is the most effective way of enforcing it. Frankly, I wish they did that in presidential debates and t.v. interviews where opposing sides end up trying to shout each other down. This has always worked to the disadvantage of Republicans until Trump came along and played the game just like Democrats.

@@paybackx6333 the public school system (which is paid for by taxes on property owners as well as general taxes collected by the federal government) has been facing a serious decline in student enrollment throughout the United States because of CRT. Many teachers have had to be laid off. Sooner or later CRT will collapse and things will return to normal.

Notice how the ones with the "I support the Loudon County school board" signs didn't say a word to her. They just held up their little sign. They are weak sheep and knew they were completely outnumbered in that room. They believe that most people agree with them, but in reality, most people don't. It is very refreshing to see a teacher stand up for the kids. We need more of her in all of our schools. I'm glad to see that more teachers and parents are stepping up.
The school where I work, they all KNEW that Trump cheated in 2016, because nobody they knew voted for him. The entire school is a giant echo chamber, except for a few crusty old bastards like me.

There's a good chance that they are plants. It's psychology. Those in power can seed the crowd with their allies and then have them bring signs like that for others to see and potentially be influenced by. Here's an interesting point, those people holding the signs have identified themselves as enemies. I wouldn't be surprised to hear of some of them getting followed and having the sh*t beat out of them at some point. I'm sure this will happen and I'm also sure that it will have an impact on what the board does.
Probably union. They do that in Fairfax County at public hearings. Sickening that our VA positions allowed those parasites a win to allow localities bargaining powered by unions. Watch our taxes rise and foe money to be diverted from services because the union are big donors for dems and progressives. Go to exists to serve the people paying taxes. Unions exist to benefit employees. Citizens will now be paying for unions as employees of the local jurisdictions. Unions do not belong in government.

Self awareness is lacking from these people. Silencing someone’s voice speaks louder than what that person was talking about in the first place. There are many videos popping up of brave women (of all colors) boldly standing up for the TRUTH in front of local officials. THIS is legitimate female empowerment. This should inspire all of us.

I was CHEERING for everything she said, and for the fact that she said it in a big live and public forum!!! Had it been me, I would have raised my voice and continued without the microphone, until I was finished, and then posted it on social media, sharing it with as many as possible!
Not a better solution, just a solution. Schools need to be fixed. Even if you educate your own children properly, all will still pay the price of a miseducated society.
@@miketexas4549 There are far too many parents who already consider school "optional" for their children; they are not good parents, and their children completely miss out on an education. I had several students this year who missed 75% of instruction.
@@missmegan3694 True the parents consider it optional, however it ultimately isn't so the parents send them solely due to wishing to avoid legal penalties. My position is that the penalties should be removed altogether.
Very difficult to understand - I'm guessing her mic may have been cut, but as a retired teacher, this huge problem has not happened overnight !!! It's been building for years - I could see things happening, that I knew, were going to end up creating situations as we see happening today !! We've stood back, me included, and allowed this to happen to our precious children !! Thank God for the few teachers/Patriots that still care !!
This is what real teacher who care about their students should do. Teachers join together. Tell parents the truth about what the school boards in your community is doing. The teacher's unions were needed in the past. Now the unions are covering for unfit teachers. Parents put them to the test. I taught 33.5 years on Pa. I retired at the age of 55.5 because of the fact that I was told schools are a business. Schools are for kids.
All the teachers think they're doing right. Just some of them are dumb af. Next to journalism majors, education majors are among the weakest students in college. In fact, most of the ones I knew coming up switched to public school certification because they weren't good enough in any of the disciplines to make it as a professional anything else. I majored in both geology and mathematics, and all the kids who washed out of those programs ended up getting a teaching certificate. Most of our public school teachers are the least competent among us. The rest is Dunning-Krueger effect.

They seem to have been scared to let her finish her speech. Not very inclusive of them. Jokes aside, cutting off a mother from speeking to a school board just shows the level of control involved. A school board shouldn't have this much power over parents and students, power enough to choose who can speek and when to cut them off. That is tyranical by definition. Give people a little power over others, and watch them abuse it. Time to take the power back.
In case anyone missed the first part, the board was demanding to know why she didn't have a mask on; they wanted to know if she had a medical exception and the lady said "you can't ask me that" bc it's confidential and private health information.
