So glad to see you getting the purple and white onions!! I'm so glad you did the trials of the sage leaf! My favorite floor was the white key, I loved the dragon ball reference in the description and it was rather fun to play! I'm replaying the entirety of Pikmin 4 again and I know I'm going to like that trial the most! If you want some info on the Sage leaf he has most certainly been on the planet longer than any of the castaways and Olimar!
Some of my attempts to beat The Purple Key failed with the onion midair, nearly but not quite collected. My first success ended with 00:00 remaining. My method used a lot of Go Here and switching between Oatchi & my character: * Move character to pick pikmin * Move Oatchi to pick pikmin * Throw pikmin from character to blob to freeze & break it * Charge wall to knock onion down * Oatchi to protected blob, freeze it for more pikmin * Call pikmin with character, go here to meet Oatchi * Freeze jellyfloat * Break Water Wraith's rollers * Convert 5 ice pikmin to purples * Send Oatchi to get bomb Where it gets weird: * Go backwards with character & all pikmin to flatten bag at the start * Defeat creature & convert 5 ice pikmin to more purples * Move Oatchi to attack dirt wall * Put 4 ice pikmin on the ice fence, Go Here the rest to join Oatchi * Pick up purple onion with Oatchi * Blow up crystal wall * Kill blowhogs * Defeat the leaves as the ice wall comes down, leaving the remaining path clear I don't claim that this is an optimal strategy, but it's what worked for me.
Finally! The best rewards in the entire game! Also! Did you know that Rock Pikmin actually get SEVERELY nerfed from Spicy Spray as their attack goes from 40 to 10 when under it's effects, I'd try to not to use it if you plan on using Rocks for combat
Congratulations, it’s a bit late now but fun fact you can just oatchi rush the purple onion down, but otherwise good job on the optimal route, my favorite story is gimmick gallery (or whatever it was called) I liked the unique puzzles that the story offered.

Looking at you, One Fell Jump), but my favorites were Gimmick Gambit and The Purple Jewel. Gimmick Gambit was just super fun to run through and I think I got that platinum first try. The Purple Jewel was peak dandori, I ended up doing a similar strat to your last one where my captain clears the road while Oatchi waddles behind me with the onion stuffed in his big hamster cheeks.

Leaving a few on the porquillion to defeat it on their own was smart. You can do the same for the giant larvae, and since they loop around you only need to leave them on one.
@@gboogie3257 No, I did that as well most of the times I've gone through that challenge. I usually start by putting 5 on the porquillion, sending Oatchi to pick the buried pikmin (& then leave them with the big larvae), and going to break one of the crystal walls with the rest while they work on those things (and then to start converting to purples).
No reason to get the platinums other than bragging rights..... or maybe if the thought that you didn't get the highest rank is keeping you up at night 0.0 💜
Ironically enough i really liked snow problem and the two Key levels. Cant exactly explain why buy in reality they were all fun in their own special little way!
Destroying the Water Wraiths rollings and trying to Kill it in general is definitely not the Good play on the final Floor since not only A: It will be in your way a lot and knock the pikmin out when they’re carrying the purple onion or doing other things and B: Mostly just waste your time anyways It’s best to let it go since it won’t bother you a lot and will mostly keep a long distance away from you

For future reference, spicy spray actually weakens purples and reds in this game. (Don't know if it does the same for rocks.) My favorite floor is either the White Key, or Gimmick Gambit. I like the puzzles on these floors.
Complete incorrect, It doesn’t weaken reds or purples as their damage will still be 20 It 100% Weakens Rock Pikmin however as their damage goes down from 40 to 10 damage when Spicy Sprayed
