Every single solitary time I see Louis play a song, he smiles with his mouth, his eyes, his voice, and his horn. No matter how my day is going, as soon as I see Louis smile it ALWAYS makes me smile and laugh. He was great way beyond his music. Even though I was never lucky enough to have met him, you can just tell from his music that he was a warm and kind person. We need more Louis Armstrong's in the world today more than ever. Thanks for everything, Pops.
This man's music should be sent into space so that in case there is life out there, maybe, just maybe, they will think that some of us have a smile and humility in our hearts and souls.

There's an entry for this tune on the dippermouth dot blogspot on his March blog '09... "80 years of I Can't Give You Anything But Love'. Scroll to two thirds down, it's very detailed and there are lots of musical samples, including this one. The author of the blog is Ricky Riccardi, and he is the Project Archivist of the Louis Armstrong Archives at Queens College in New York.
