Hardman is an antihero. Louis is the opposite of Harvey - not attractive, not cold minded, short temper, no control of emotions, no sharp decisions, impulsive. And yes, very human like. Personally, the best acting and the most interesting character on the show.

Louis is mistreated alot. Like when anyone else makes a mistake its okay. But when he does it they capitalise on it. He is treated unfairly.

Whilst that's true, most of the time, Louis often makes rash decisions and misinterprets people's actions because he thinks everyone's out to get him. I agree that Louis is often pushed aside, particularly when it comes to Harvey and Jessica, but Louis manipulates others probably just as much. Also I feel that because of Louis' emotions, his actions often have worsening consequences as a result (he sexually harassed someone because of his breakup with Sheila).

louis do mistakes a lot and is vindictive, he spied from harvey, lied to harvey, lied to jessica, put the firm in danger a lot of times, made ilegal deals to make he the hero of the day just because he wants approval from their partners... but yeah he is mistreated lol

I feel the difference is that: Harvey, Mike and Jessica took calculated risks, mostly devoid of emotion mostly informed by logic. Louis was mostly fuelled by emotional thinking, and some would say paranoia that everyone is out to get him (which several times was the basis of his problem of misinterpreting people’s actions as hostile when they shouldn’t be) which realised in worse results and harsher punishments accordingly.

Whatever anyone says louis's character is the only character that is actually displays normal human behaviour and emotions - jealousy, hate, sad, happy, euphoria, pettiness all of it. Think about whatever lead him to be a villain in the show and truthfully ask if you wouldn't do the same. I would be mad as well if I found out what louis found out. Also, think about the time all of the "protagonists" have used him and manipulated him.

He got suspended because in the show it’s known the rest of the partners don’t like Harvey because he acts like Harvey and he’s never held to account for his behavior by Jessica cuz she mothers him and makes the firm a lot of money. So him assaulting a partner is there way of making sure Harvey faces punishment for something he did. Also self defense isn’t applicable here cuz they’re not in court, but let’s say he argued it was self defense, he would have to prove he was in fear of or in imminent danger of harm by Louis and walking away wasn’t an option. Harvey Wasn’t afraid he stood there after the shove while Louis ripped him apart verbally that was when Harvey lost his temper punched him, and threw him into a table.

Self Defense is only applicable if you feel you are in imminent risk or fear of harm or danger. While yes Louis pushed Harvey, Harvey stood there for a nearly a whole minute afterwards while Louis verbally unleashed on him and that set Harvey off causing him to punch and throw Louis into a glass table.

That's because of his underhanded tactics. Mike Ross wasn't supported by Harvard, so Louis used that as a means to get his name on the board. It was either supporting a Fraud, and dragging the firm's name through the mud, which loses clients, or he keeps his mouth shut, and is placed in a position of power.

I see people being compassionate about Louis but he is the same kins of character as Golum from LoTR. Yeah maybe he is dramatic persona, but now even if you would try to build relationship with him, one mistake and he will turn on you. The great thing about this show was always about the strong minority characters. Jessica, Alex Williams and Robert Zane. I only wish they did the same for Asians. The only time I have ever seen them have an Asian on the show Season 5, Episode 6 "Privilege": with Mr. Tanaka tea scene. I wish they had one where a formidable Asian Lawyer gets the better of them and then becomes friends and has a reoccurring role. The show had 9 seasons yet, an Asian only appeared on screen once. I normally don't care about Asian representation, but this being my favorite show of all time. It really hurts realizing that just now.
