I've been following Louis for years now. It's great to see such a hard working comedian find so much success. The best stand up going and great to his fans.
He’s the greatest comic of all time. Not only does he have the strongest stand up on stage, but he’s a great intellectual, great director , great writer, does his own editing, changed show business for comics forever with that unique deal with FX. Led the way for the rest of them. Also the show louie is a masterpiece

Anyone with a brain knows he loves his kids more than he loves himself. It's obvious. But THAT is why the brutal way he talks about them...is so goddamn funny. I'm not a parent myself...but I have a feeling the only people who _don't_ find those jokes funny...are people without kids.
Andrew Orozco he might be funny but the accusations do matter. Women are people dude. Imagine it was your mom or sister he took advantage of. Imagine if it was your girlfriend, or someone else you love.
you know how they say you have to be careful what you say around women because it will inevitably be used against you. well if you live with a comedian I guess you better watch what you say because it will inevitably be used for comedy.
Absolutely, i sometimes recite a comedian’s jokes or whatever and its not funny on its own. Its funny when you add their attitude abs other elements to it.
If you're downloading movies off the internet, you are only hurting the producers and the investors who are already millionaires, but not the regular staff who are definitley not holding stakes from its sale.
I love seeing the evolution of his "why?" routine. I saw the newest one first then this one and I could see the foundation for that great part. Very cool.

Does anyone remember one joke that his accusers ever told? They were unfunny hacks who went to a hotel at 2 am and a guy asked if he could touch himself. They could have said no or left but they didn't. He did nothing wrong. If you are not grown enough to make decisions, at least wear a sign warning people.
I remember seeing Louis CK do his HBO half hour when it first aired in like 2006, me and my dad were watching. We oved it. By the time he got to the bit about his wife not staying on topic, I was like this guy is gonna be big someday. So relatable, my mom to a t. I was right. Hate to be a hipster, but I was a Louis fan before it was mainstream.
I agree about Sebastian ... he’s really become cookie cutter comic now like Kevin hart . Once money rolls in they become more “universal” just to get more money I assume and not try to piss certain groups off... idk it sucks though.

Louis is the best comedian of all time** in terms of standup, being on that stage and writing the jokes for that set, ability to do crowd work if they choose to. There’s a big difference between saying someone’s your favorite comedian just because you listen to their podcast. Podcast doesn’t make you a comedian. its two entirely different mediums.

You know this is not a taped special, right? That's how stand-up comedy works. Comics go to clubs and tell jokes a bunch of times (and in different ways) until they've hashed it out. Sometimes you think something's funny and no one agrees, so you scrap it. And a lot of comedians do that, refining material until they finally record it (in a special or on an album) and then they move on. You know why his delivery is better? Cause he's worked it out. Comics do this. It's not an isolated thing.

yeah man. Comedy is an art. You've got to practice practice practice. I remember seeing this guy on Comedy Central Presents and now he's arguably the best in the business today.

Just stumbled on this. I know Louis post marriage and older kids. It's weird to hear talk about his wife, he loves her, and a baby. Not much later he has another daughter and is divorced. I love his new stuff, he's great! This vid is 15 years ago. Jesus.
