I actually admire the fans who has been supporting him since the hiatus. It’s unheard of fans supporting someone when the person has been away from their main activities. This gives the quote “I need you and you need me” a whole new dimension.
I legit have no interest in 1D but hearing you talk so fondly about Louis is just so heartwarming, he’s lucky to have fans like you advocating for him! Interested to learn more :)
This video is like a warm hug…like getting to listen and watch a fellow fan of Louis passionately talk about all these great amazing things I love about him and who he is and what hope and love he’s brought into the world (and what love we fans give back) and just his journey and his music it’s just- I feel so full of love; for Louis, for you, for the fandom, for his music, just everything. Thank you for putting this out there, the world needs more Louis, he’s such an incredible inspiring artist and person and just- uhhhhgggg I can’t- ❤️❤️🥹🥹
What an amazing man. He's such an inspiration! I think both his albums are great and each one is very coherent, Faith in the future couldnt exist without Walls. I wish nothing but a bright colorful and happy future for him. Thanks for the video!
Looking back to 1D when Louis would say that he didn’t feel like he belong in 1D or that he didn’t bring any of the elements to 1D that any of the other boys did - I realised that 1D couldn’t have even been what it was without him. For example, majority of the reason why I loved 1D was because the charisma that they brought to the stage but most of that came from Louis. Louis motivated the boys to be different than any other boyband. They defied the stereotype of what a typical boyband was supposed to be which is why so many fans grew to love them because they were different and unlike any other boyband. Also despite he sarcasm and banter he also remained compassionate, down to earth and caring. To this day you can still see how much love he has for his family.
Louis coming to gilford NH means so much to me. One direction really saved me when I was really young because I grew up as a glass child and Louis saved me specifically during quarantine/ the pandemic when I was really battling with suicidal thoughts. His music and him had given me so much hope and to look up. I never thought I would have the chance to see and hear Louis live in concert and the fact he went to new Hampshire baffles me. Barely any celebrities consider New Hampshire for touring. It made me feel so seen. Not to mention I also got to hear songs that literally got through the shitty times. Louis has also meant so much to me that my graduation cap literally was pictures of him and a quote from "holding onto heartache"- "time will always heal ya if you let it make its way into your bones, nothing's ever easy, to be honest I'm not easy on myself." My life wouldn't be the same without him.
I totally relate!! I traveled 6 hours to NH to see Louis in concert. The venue was gorgeous, and because the pit was not too large, my row center 2 seat was really close to the stage. Btw, I'm in my 60s and found him just last year. I'm a total Louie, having also traveled to his Chicago and NYC shows. Alone. And, Louis also saved me. I lost my son in 2013 and have been so sad since. Until I found Louis - both his music and his personality. He slays.
Louis was One Direction, I loved him right from the start, not Harry or Zayn, just Louis...and to this day I still do, when he went solo, I cried, I was so darn PROUD of him. He is the most honest, funny, lovable, genuine, and game man I have ever seen.. I just want so much happiness for him. He deserves it.. He I's going to go so far in the music industry, and I don't mean just singing, all his ideas to help other singers as well... I simply just love the man...❤❤
Amazing video, Jasmine! Being a Louie is nothing but pure joy. It's just so easy to love and support a person and artist as wonderful as Louis is. Seeing him live this summer was one of the most truly special experiences of my life. I've been to lots of concerts but I have to say that *nobody* has crowds like Louies. The love, passion and safety was literally palpable. Kind, creative artists get kind, creative fanbases, I always thought. I love your channel. You're fantastic, hun.
I became a Louie about a month or two before FITF, and i think it was the best decision ive ever made. He has inspired me so much, he's healed parts of me that I didnt even know I needed healed. He's just so amazing over all, and the love he has for us is out of this world! He is the most amazing man to walk this planet. He is a literal angel, he is the sun, he lights up my world like nobody else. lol. But he is just so impactful to everyone near him, he really deserves to be known more, his music is so underrated, I strongly believe that Louis Tomlinson should be a house hold name just like Harry Styles. And that Walls and Faith In The Future 100000% deserve a Grammy.
Watching this video and seeing his whole carreer like this again is crazy. Walls will forever have a special place in my heart and AOTV was just such a unique experience from the atmosphere in the cinema to the documentary itself. I just loved it.
Thank you J. Loved the video. I am new to the fandom. My knowledge in music is minimal. I think I love his music bcoz of who he is. I discovered Louis by accident. What drew me to this boy was when he very proudly pointed at himself when asked who the mama's boy was. That hit home. I dug a bit on him and there is no stopping me. I am besotted with him. I just adore him. His songs are so relatable. His fans are unbelievable. Like he always says Louise are 'LOYAL AND DEDICATED'. I am a proud Louie. ❤
Steven and I always on the same wavelength 🥰🥰🥰 thanks for including me!! “I’m sorry Louis carried and I SHRUGGED” I mean I snorted they’re so right Louis girls UNITE
This video is amazing I saw Louis In 2015 last year & im hopefully seeing him in October & November this year hopefully he is incredibly talented I’m so incredibly proud of him I hope he finally gets the recognition love support respect he deserves so much one day I’m so proud of how far he has come though
Wow Jasmine, you have just become my favorite authority on Louis. My dUghter who died in January introduced me to Louis and 1D after my husband died 2 years ago. I hCe been at a loss to know how to keep up on current info. I just LOVE him and who he is and his outlook on life. This warms my heart. I don't even know how to connect with him, not very tech savvy. Keep up the good work, beautiful person💚💙💚💙💚💙❤️🙏
I’m so sorry for your loss ❤ I know a lot of people use Twitter to keep up to date with celebrities they like - maybe an account there might be useful to you :)
I'm sorry for your loss, that you keep what she liked with you is so sweet. YT is a good platform. You have music and even interviews, Louis is funny but also insightful... I don't like Twitter much, it can be messy. I prefer YT for 'interacting' but you could try what you like. Best wishes for you
i have no words. you did Louis and his career justice in every possible way and word. THIS. this video. mwah. I'm seeing him next Tuesday and this really set the mood and made me realise it ajajqj
Great video! I only discovered Louis recently, just in time to see him in concert locally, which was a great joy. At 55 I am surely his oldest fan. He’s wonderful.
Even when I was not a fan since the beggining, I saw all you mentioned here. The wasted potencial is unveliabeable.... (Pandemic fan) a great artist that deserves all the positive attention he receives. 💙 I love and respect the Original Louies because of YOU be have the Louis that he is today, thank you for supporting him. I want to help Louis to reach his next level 💙💚💛🧡💜💖 Lets support all of Louis songs before 11.11. The likes on FitF are so low for the quality of the album. Louis deserves more
Great video Jasmine. I am a new fan of Louis as of February 2023. I just happened to stumble on an interview he did and was captivated by him. I didn’t know anything about him not even from One Direction. I wasn’t really into them. I’m 64 and had only heard “That’s what makes you beautiful “ in the radio back then. My 12 year old daughter just wasn’t into them at the time . Wasn’t into liking boys to much yet I guess. But now I’ve really become obsessed with listening to and finding out all about all of them. I flew to Denmark to see Harry in May this spring and saw Louis twice this summer. Took all 3 of my grown kids with me. The youngest one June 6th in Columbus, Ohio and the older 2 to Atlanta, Ga. All 3 have become Louis fans now as well as my friends. I am always playing his music and promoting him. I just purchased some of the clothing from his new clothing line “28”. Can’t wait to get it!!!! I love all that Louis has accomplished so far and wish he got even more recognition. You are right in saying it’s the fans that have really promoted him. But that says so much about his fandom :-) Louis T. lover for life 🥰😍💙 Miss Cat
Louis is just a stellar human being and we're lucky to have him. I've listened to FITF at least 50 times and I love it every time. Thanks for highlighting our sassy king!
Absouley love this video!! Seeing how much Louis has grown musically and personally in one video is truly amazing. Thank you for making this video. I became a 1D fan in mid 2020 but I instantly fell in love with Louis and his personality. I am so proud of him and everything he has accomplished over the years especially these recent years.
I loved watching this and learning more about Louis. I’m catching up on all of 1Ds solos careers and it’s a lot! I feel like Zayn’s team is also in need of help, they don’t do much marketing wise at all ,anyway so proud of Louis!
Jasmine as always you are really on point with and for Louis. He is an amazing artist and deserves to be acknowledged more than he has been. I admore Louis and you so much for supporting this amazing loveable man. Love you jaz.💙💚
This was great, having come in between Walls and Faith in the Future, it was great to hear how the timeline went before I was in the fandom. I do really wish Louis team promoted him better, they did a video for Written All Over Your Face with fan videos, which is lovely to include the fans but did nothing to push such a great song outside the fandom. Trouble seems to be that they still feel like his fanbase is full of just teenage girls, when actually most have grown up with Louis and are much older. He would also do so well with Indie fans, which they seemed to start trying to do with the types of magazine interviews and chat shows he went on for the Faith in the Future promo, but then wasn't really taken much further. I'm hoping his support for so many wonderful bands and artists with his openers and the festival will eventually pull in those peoples fans to give Louis music a chance as well
That last part, so true. I dragged two people who never listened to 1D our Louis to a FITF concert this summer and theh loved the atmosphere and his songs.n
And all die hard Louies would find time to sit and listen to you Jas, just curious really, like how this vids reach Louis and be proud of his Louies are doing. Great job and thank you to all Louies who are doing this kind with utmost love for Louis.
He is my favorite person ❤kindest and realest celebrity out there❤ I adore him. He deserves everything best in life. I love to see him rebuild himself all over again❤he is the most resilient person I know
I did my self taped interview but was unable to send it in sadly 😭 I’m so excited to watch this,I’ve been watching your content since 2020 and you’re a big inspiration ❤
Great video. My opinion on Louis in the beginning probably sound mean or hateful but I don't hate him! It's how I experience it. I was a directioner since the beginning (xfactor) and I agree that in 1D I never noticed Louis as a singer because it was always about him being the loud one. I think that that was one of the reason's I never really connected to him in 1D. Harry has always been my fav so of-course like everyone I always focus on/noticed my fav more than other members but I loved 1D and all the members. I still remember that Louis was the member I connected with the least out of all of them mostly because all I thought about him was being loud and the person who always (i'm not sure how to word it correctly) interrupted members during interviews/take the attention away from the rest, never really listened to the other members when they were answering. I don't think he did with that in my mind but that's how it felt like to me at the time. I only started noticing Louis a bit more after the break when he was alone and didn't feel the need to be ''overactive'' in interviews to gain attention from fans and his members. It was only in the last year that I started paying attention to him a little more. He is more relaxed and calm in interviews while still being funny and loud which also made me more interested in getting to know him more and made me start listening to his music. I'm even going to his concert in Oktober. I do think he misses something to make it really big as a solo artist and one of the reasons may also be his age. he is in his 30 and I do think that that is something that doesn't help. For the young people he is kind of old and they can't really connect with him and for a lot of ''older'' people they don't really get into new unknown music that fast. And you have the fact that KPOP is really taking over and is getting a lot of attention and Kpop Idols interact with their fans so much more that his interaction's aren't that noticeable. Weekly livestreams with fans, releasing variety show episode every week, behind the scene's videos every week, having new music released 2 a 3 times a year It is a lot to compete against. I think it's amazing what he has achieved and even though he isn't the most successful member he has done amazing and you don't have to make it big to be successful
I love ur videos. I’m a quarantine era fan that never cared about 1D when they were a band, and I became a solo louie, so I’m usually very skeptical of 1D fans bc I think a lot seem stuck in 2012 and can’t accept that everyone is solo and happier now. But the way u talk abt Louis is so wholesome and it’s like genuinely full of admiration. And I really really appreciate u for it
another brilliant video. Thank you for doing this 🥰 I could not find the "Sony decline" video you've mentioned... Could you please add the link. I would love to watch it so much
I would send this to my mom, but she wouldn't watch it. She tried to talk me out of going to the Philly and Asbury Park shows because of the heat and my medical issues. Instead I planned ahead and had the best time! Other than being hot and sweaty and feeling like I was melting.
❤ I basicly agree with you, great job. I love Louis way too much for my own good, but I kind of like it that he's not mainstream. The way things are now he gets to do what he loves to do without all the pressure and all the dirty games at the top. Maybe I'm being selfish here, at the end of the day I want anything he wants for him. But personally I am happy where he is now.
Thank you so much for all of this! If it's okay, I have a question: is there a (non-larry) explanation as to why Louis signed under syco once more? I've only ever heard the Larry-explanation and I don't wanna get into any fights, but for me, personally, it doesn't sound super realistic that he would sign for five more years to "set his band member free". Or rather, it doesn't sound realistic to me that the label would offer such a deal. Thoughts?
