Ahhh Louis is our Sass master from Doncaster....this video doesn't really show is actual personality. He is really sassy and humorous but he is really sweet specially towards his fanbase ..i mean all the 5 boys shower their love on us differently but Louis interacts with his fans like we are his friends.

You should react to more interviews! His personality is really fascinating actually. He’s so funny and charismatic, he knows when to make a joke and he knows when to be serious. He’s really honest and smart. I love him so much
when 1d separate louis became more serious and shy and no one really knows why. and that's true sometimes we forgot how rich and famous louis really is bc he's so humble and kind
It might be because he went through a hard time losing his mother and sister. I can imagine that really hit him hard! Going from no one to being world famous at such a young age, to then ending the band and losing those closest to him. I could imagine him feeling so lost, but trying so hard to keep it together!
We know EXACTLY why.....his mother was dying for one thing, and Harry HSHQ was busy stabbing everyone in the back for another, and Sony held his album back and he lost his sister. He’s actually doing pretty dang amazing considering everything he went through, and STILL put out an amazing album! Can’t wait to see him in 3022!

This is the reason I am a Louis fan he is a lot of things I’ve seen thought out the years. Basically he is someone I can admire by how he loves his hometown and his family but is fierce and unapologetically lives for the moment and how he has felt loss so deep with his sister and his mom. Zayn and Louis were the trouble makers in 1D also Zayn have anxiety issues therefore he doesn't do that many interviews and doesn't really perform live now....while Liam Payne is really really really sweet and low- Key funny.
Louis is actually VERY charismatic and sassy! I don’t think this specific interview showcased a lot of that, might be because he did a lot of those during that same day so he was tired. He really is nice and kindhearted! Very humble and even shy at times, but he’s also confident and stands up for what he believes in. He wears his heart on his sleeve and isn’t afraid to show emotion or be vulnerable. He’s a very genuine down-to-earth character, very close to his fans and always so thankful and caring. Yeahh I think he’s the most laidback out of the three, he does whatever feels right for him, doesn’t pretend like he’s something he’s not just to please others or be like them. He’s just Louis! I think a lot of people are stuck in the past and have the image of louis from 10 years ago when he was 19, louis is still a funny and sassy guy, but he has also grown up and is more mature, that’s why one side of him is more serious and shy. I really love his personality, is very unique, he is very humble and down to earth. if you react to more videos of louis, can it be one of him with his fans or another interview please?
The thing about Louis is that he's so incredibly humble that he treats us fans like best friends. And it feels like we know him so much even though most of us have never met him that's what's so perfect about him.
haha i think there’s gonna be a lot of people in the comments saying this isn’t what Louis is like, that he’s sassy and loud and exuberant and changed only after One Direction, but it’s not really that simple. Louis he assumed the roles he had to during One Direction, he’s said as much himself. he gave himself the role of comic relief early on, he’d make jokes and throw in his sarcastic, witty comments when things started getting too serious. he knew what he had to do to engage his audience. but solo louis, who can really be himself is so much easygoing, and allows him to express the shy side he’s _always_ had. we see it in his x-factor audition clip. Bebe Rexha, who Louis has a collab with, also described him as,”_The shyest too. Very Shy_”. Niall said “As the years went by, he became so much more confident. I remember when I first met him, _he barely spoke_.” he gets all flustered and cute and soft sitting by himself, minding his own business when he notices his makeup artist filming him. he had to stop singing to take a moment to gather himself when fans shouted extra loud for his solo in a gig. i assume it’s easier for him to be loud and rambunctious in the presence of friends once he forgets about the cameras because for a decade now, i’ve also seen him as a really soft shy person, behind the camera and in front of it, when he’s by himself without the mattress of four other loud chaotic boys to fall back on. he blushes and hides his face in his hands and looks downs and smiles and gets flustered when fans tell him how good his music is, when his collaborators compliment his work ethic, while he’s reading fan tweets and comes across a sincere complimentary one. but he’s confident too, and he believes himself so much more now- which has been quite the journey for him, since he has always been a bir insecure and very self depreciating of himself. he’s a dichotomy, and i love all of his layers and i’m so sick of fans trying to erase his soft shy side and project him as some perpetually loud cheeky insolent boy ready to sass everyone to tears, from what they knew him to be in the band (as captivating as that version of him is), a time where they all had their roles to play, by their own admittance.
I agree with this so so much... and I think it’s true for everyone to be honest. Everyone has different sides to them and is to an extent a different person around different people. It’s quite obvious that he felt more comfortable to be cheeky with the other boys and also had space to do that. But I think by himself he knows he has to be a bit more serious and also doesn’t have the other guys to banter off of.

I’m with you. I find it weird how so many are stuck in the past. His jokster persona was his role in the beginning. It was ONE side of him, based on his personality true, but still a role and an exagerated role at that. He’s not that boy anymore. He’s himself as he is now in this interview.

It seems to me they don’t want reality and have fixated on the past probably because it reminds them of the good time they had back then and as 1D has been over for longer than they were a band now they have to cling to the past because they are not ready to move on themselves. I mean I get that, I love watching old clips, it’s nostalgic and fun, but Louis is finally able to be more than just the jokster of the band. He gets to be all of him now. I love to see that.

A lot of people in the comments are saying this interview doesn't really showcase his personality and, even though I agree that his sassy side isn't popping here, you can actually see a lot more of him rather than only his funny and cheeky side!! He is hilarious and knows how to make people laugh but he is also someone who can have a proper serious conversation with you and he's showing that side of himself here.

@@yo-wc2hq i never said that he's loud. the fact of be a sassy person doesn't mean you're not shy or affectionate. be in front of cameras and people you don't really know its scary even though your used to it or it's part of your job or whatever.
Watch his livestream performance from back in December 2020; the intensity and beauty of those performances is insane. His interaction with his fans is beautiful and he’s extremely intelligent and also very, very funny.
1D has a movie from early in their careers called “this is us.” A lot of time is spent interviewing each member. Requesting you watch it would be a bit much to ask but I think it would be super cool to hear your take on each of them especially at that stage of their stardom.
after becoming a dad, losing his mom and losing his sister he definitely acts more laid back and sincere now (if that’s the right word). during his time in one direction he was more flamboyant and loud but as you age you mature so it makes sense that he acts a little more reserved now especially with what he has had to overcome.
i think you were pretty point on about him. Most of his friends and family or anyone he hangout with for work will say this, he is shy, sweet, humble, confident and generous. Also many fans who have met him say this that he has this vibe around him which makes you feel comfortable. Loved the reaction xx
Louis... louis is kinda difficult to understand has different sides to him really, but truth is he is caring and definitely humble, treats the fans like his friends, like you’d meet him for the first time and start telling about something that happened to you and he’ll be genuinely interested, he’s got enough sass on him, most people from where he is are, he can be pretty wild when there are people around him like when he had the 1d boys around him, he likes to have fun and that fun side of him usually comes out when there are people with him and most of all people he is comfortable with, louis has that sense of calmness surrounding him so when you meet him especially lately the fans are more calm than ever, he just makes you feel safe really, he’s very grounded and thankful for everything he has, and he is pretty damn strong ,the thing is all the boys are down to earth and stuff but I think out of all the boys he is the most relatable one, like meeting harry can be like omg that’s Harry Styles and you can easily forget that he too is human, whilst with louis you’ll be happy you’re meeting him but his calmness is contagious so you never really lose contact with his “human” side, it’s in the way he walks and carries himself around and onstage it’s just like a bunch of friends partying really like even with thousands of people around he feels so close... idk if I explained it correctly and I think the main reason it feels like that with harry is probably cause he is marketed that way, like you do look at him like he’s God or smth... it’s funny how harry and louis are my favs when they are in my opinion the most opposite in the band, but I think for laid back, niall is definitely one of the most alid back artists out there, louis is soft spoken and all but he does fight when he feels like he’s being mistreated while niall, like he just is loved by everyone really never gets himself into drama or stuff like just so peaceful and nice people can’t help but like him...
So true! Louis/ Harry may be the most different to the media, but they're both really humble, fun people. I think Harry's public persona has become bigger than himself. It's a combination of the Gucci/luxury brands, great stage presence, and lack of social media use. When fans interact with celebs whether through Twitter or Instagram live, it does help show their human side. I think Harry may just shy away from it and may find it overwhelming..I dont blame him!

It's not the amazing talent or expensive fashion, but his level of fame and overall icon status that's been given to him that makes him more intimidating. I remember thinking that the rolling stones article created that image of him. Not his quotes, but the writing in the article gave off a Rockstar fame vibe. I'd love to hear Harry's perspective of all this lol.. but yeah totally agree with you! This isn't exactly related, but louis, niall and liam all publicly reunited through tv shows, selfies, instagram lives, but when it comes to Harry, they are all private about it which indirectly influences that image of him. I think that'll change someday tho! :)

ive been a HUGE fan of one direction (specifically louis) since I was 12 (now 20) and I finally met louis last year with a friend who wasnt a fan of one direction and she was surprised at how humble and genuine he was! he saw that I was nervous and he immediately said 'come give us a cuddle' and he really engaged with me when I spoke to him. lovely lovely guy, people say never meet your heroes but meeting louis was so surreal and the best thing thats ever happened to me

Louis is the right amount of shy, sweet, funny and confident at the same time! that's why his fans adore him. He has such a soothing, calming aura about him and his laidback, humble nature just makes him that much more approachable which is hard to come across with A list stars like himself. All the fans that meet him also say it really feels like hanging out with a friend instead of awkwardly meeting a celeb bc he always makes everyone around him feel so safe and comfortable xx no wonder he has such a big dedicated fanbase, incredible music and such an easy to love personality
it’s really funny that you said Harry is the most charismatic and well known of the five, which is obviously true- the boys all actually deferred to Louis as the ex-officio leader of the group. he was the one and stood up and got their old team fired so they could write their own music and make the music they wanted- he directed the change in the musical direction of the band from their first two albums to the third, wrote on 16 out of 18 songs on the album and wrote the most songs for the band overall. he was the “defacto leader & elder statesman of the group”, in billboard’s words.
although i love all you said, putting louis as the only one who 'fought' for the band against management and talking about how he wrote most songs is invalidating liam and his hard work too. they did A LOT of things together for the band, and to me it also seems like liam could be the un-officual leader since he used to be the one who had to be serious, would always leade the interviews and his inability to perform was the only time a 1D concert got cancelled...
@@isabelcomesg we’re all entitled to our own opinions but i do not think that recognising the contributions of one member in any way mean delegitimising the efforts of the others. as for the matter of being the only one fighting the management- it’s a matter of fact really. first, (this is a common misconception), i did not talk about Louis fighting against “management” (i’m sure he and the others did fight back against management control but that is irrelevant here) i talked about louis standing up against the _record label_ to change their musical direction. i did not include Liam or the others in this statement because there is simply no evidence that they did, and claiming that they did would be dismissive of Louis’ role. because Louis was repeatedly and pointedly singled out during that period, and not in a positive way, as the one who “stepped on many important shoes in the industry”. as the one who fought label execs. to get their old team fired so they could write their own songs, and i say only louis because Savan- the chief lyricist for UAN and TMH who was fired- singled out Louis in his interview and painted him as some thankless brat when Louis was simply doing what was the best for the band. even Louos has admitted that he stepped up behind the scenes to make himself indispensable to the band around 2013 as had very few solos and felt insecure in his position in the band- so yes, Liam did also write on a lot of songs on Midnight Memories and their is no diminishing the role he had in the band- the responsible band member. but responsibility does not necessarily equal leadership (at least in my eyes, you are free to hold your own opinions). louis was the leader in my eyes (or at least the one with most control behind the scenes) because he was in charge of most of the executive decisions, because he had better insight into the industry and a better sense of what their audience wanted and how that married with what music they wanted to make as a band (all also reasons why Louis made an excellent judge on TXF 2018). he was the one that scouted out 5SOS to open for their second world tour, the one that chose Teenage Dirtbag for the band to cover on tour, the one that suggested changes in their on-stage choreography (paul directing them to sing LBD sitting down and Louis saying that wouldn’t make sense for a high energy song like LBD so they should be standing/walking around, an excerpt saying louis took control of BSE dance rehearsals and helped conceptualise some of it, locking in the band into a hotel room for over three hours). adding to all of these little things over the years, what really solidified Louis as the leader for me is the fact that he’s the only one who was ever referred to as the one who spoke for the band in meetings and the leader behind the scenes by industry insiders and people in one direction’s (professional) inner circle. you are, as i said, free to hold your own opinions, i only say all this to explain that i did not say what i did to dismiss Liam’s role (i love too dearly to do that) but to highlight Louis’, because i feel it is criminal that so much of the fandom sleeps on how important Louis was for 1d to navigate through the entertainment industry backwaters, because not everything of importance that took place happened on stage or on cameras.

I had read that an ex-employee of their label/management was at a meeting where Louis out-negotiationed the executives. Said she never saw anything like it. He was extremely prepared, confident, well spoken & never wavered. Got the band everything they asked for. She said Do not underestimate Louis Tomlinson. He isn’t just wacky crazy Louis, he is a shrewd businessman. Liam also told that he (Liam) was the Daddy of the group only because management would call him when they had an issue with any of the others. They asked/told him to handle it. He didn’t like that this had fallen to him & said it was one of the things that contributed to his drinking. He also said that when any of them, including him, needed advice/ counsel, they would go to Louis. That he helped them discreetly with their issues & always steered them well. He also said that Louis isn’t only the Louis everyone sees. He has a very level headed & serious side. Thought I would share some of the things I don’t see very often amongst all these clips etc. Makes us appreciate him even more. And here we thought that wasn’t possible ‼️ We❤️Louis 🌞 Be well. 🦋

I also feel like (based on what ive read about Louis doing business and having his own label etc) he prob stepped on ppl's feet and was just too smart, didn't listen to everything he's been told. I believe part of the reason for their huge success was the fact that they're these humble nice somethimes cheeky guys. It wasn't just the lack of boybands around at the time, it was the way showbusiness was such a fake thing by the time they emerged. They were refreshing to watch I guess. Thank you for these videos!
I love all the 1D boys equally. But inevitably you know where idk why i support Louis more. Obviously i respect him coz of the struggles he gone through like losing his mom and sis, being potrayed badly, and his tough management ,also he treats his fans like his family, we are even pretty sure that he will give up everything for us. He was a different person back then so much goofy you know. After that his smile faded🥺🥺🥺. He deserved more solos in 1D songs. He got unique voice and vocals. His story telling ability through lyrics give me chills.
Watching old 1D interviews won’t tell you how they are now but they can show how they used to be. But they were so young then. They started out as teenagers at 16-18, pretty immature as well, and are now 27-29. Of course they’ve changed. It’d be really weird if they didn’t. Fame and being in the spotlight had it’s impacts but despite that they’ve remained humble.
louis is indeed very humble and family-oriented. he’s very proud of where he came from. and yes he probably deflects attention bc he genuinely feels like a normal guy. that you got right. but what this interviews doesn’t really show is how funny and sarcastic he also is. :) good video
It would be so interesting for you to watch early interviews/conversations and compare them to recent ones to see what mannerisms and traits have stayed the same and changed over the years and as they've become more famous!
he's so sweet and lovely. he sometimes comes off as shy but he's full of energy, just a lovely down to earth person ! I think that's why his fanbase is one of the most dedicated out there, he's such a nice and humble person, stanning him just feels like supporting a good friend.
He is shy and get uncomfortable under pressure but he’s the sweetest, most raw honest, naturally funny and kind. I like that he protects himself and his loved ones always, super loyal. What you see with him is how he’s feeling at that time, does not put on a show up for anything

Louis is the best human. he is like the 8th natural wonder of the world. He is quite hyperactive and wild in 1D. but also the caring one, the loving one. He is quite empathetic. Seems to be very altruistic and authentic too. just absolutely admire and adore him

I loved everything you said but the "I don't think he has the same charisma as harry". I love Harry but I don't think Louis has to be anything like him for people to like him or find him confident or anything else for that matter and neither does Niall btw. Louis just has to be himself. I get what you meant by what you said but at the same time it kind of made me feel...offended/sad? to hear. It's just that usually people who hate on Louis in general usually describe Louis like that and they always have to bring up Harry for whatever reason and it gets to me and hearing that kind of sucks, like "he doesn't have personailty, he's just not important as Harry or he's not like harry styles" which I hear a lot and so when people compare Louis to harry like that I always hear it in a negative way? People would just watch 1 video and be like "he doesn't have personailty like harry" I just don't get why people always have to compare him to Harry. They're both their own people, Louis doesn't have to have a personality like Harry for people to like him or be a fan. And to be honest before I became a stan of 1D, Louis was more who drew me in. It was because of him I even bothered with 1D and though, they wouldn’t be One Direction without any of the members, to me Louis’ importance always struck the most so again I understand what you mean
@@Aparajita_Garg Omg yes! I feel really bad for Louis because of how overlooked he is. I just wish people would give him a chance. Louis made the band so much better and fun. I agree with you about the Louie fandom, I love being apart of it and it makes me feel the most safe in the fandom. Louis makes his fans feel safe and loved and we have such an amazing connection with him. I think our connection with him is definietly the best part of being his fan. I can't wait until we get Louis' album, documentary and seeing how he gets going with the record label idea. I'm so curious about his documentary. I see so many people saying they want it on Netflix and I couldn't agree more. Louis is doing absolutely great and I'm so proud of him.

i hope you keep reacting to him, his personality is so incredible and he got a heart made of gold!! he's so charismatic, gentle, genuine, funny and smart. he's also so sweet and honest, it's just impossible to not fall in love with him
maybe do a video of one of the video diaries? because like that really showcases that they are more than just a boyband and that they've got a bond like none other
