Beautiful bag and great review! The color really complements your skin tone! I’ve seen the magnolia color on other LV bags and it’s just gorgeous! I just bought the epi Alma bb in galet. I love it! This bag has grown on me. It’s so understated and I love the elegant silhouette!
Such a beautiful nude colour Jessica! I would love another Alma BB at some point! Love the mod shots TFS! Have a wonderful Sunday and enjoy your Irish adventure! 💞💞
Awesome review Jessica. Beautiful bag, love the color. I have epi leather Alma BB black one. I love Alma BB more than PM. Thank you so much for sharing and have a wonderful weekend.
It's my favorite as well. Understated, structured, and hard wearing- it's perfect! I didn't realize they didn't have it with gold hardware. Hopefully they will release one you love soon :)
@@Chicprofessor Back in the early 90s, the black Epi Alma were produced in silver and brass hardware. Later the brass was discontinued. Sometimes the brass Epi versions appear on the pre loved market but condition tends to be quite poor.
Such a Beautiful color! I do not feel LV epi leather gets the recognition it deserves. Kudos to you for selecting this Beauty. I have an almost 20 year old Alma....Not sure of the size...id guess PM... I've also noticed that it's smarter to pack the larger items at the bottom, because as you mentioned it angles as it goes upward causing certain things not to fit. Id wear your bag year round...I think it would look soooo nice with Browns, and Forest Greens
Hi Jessica! This video makes me want to pull out my Alma’s! I have three. One in Bb size, one in PM size, and one in GM size. All are black. (Two Vernis; One in epi) It is a great classic bag. I love them. I use them on both dressy occasions and on casual occasions. I haven’t reached for them in a while but will now! Thanks for the review!!!
@@jewelnabq01 Not for me, but I don't put much in my bags. I didn't get the shoulder straps with mine because I knew I wouldn't use them. If you are concerned about weight then the shoulder strap could give you some relief. Also you can attach another shoulder strap. It doesn't have to be the one that goes with it.
@@JillMaurer Tks for info. I tend to keep adding things to my bag, especially these days with sanitizers, wipes, etc. and wondered about the weight. I don't think I would use the strap with the PM, but probably with the BB.
Thanks for the wear review. The Alma doesn’t work for me, but I’m considering a few other Epi bags, especially in Electric/patent. Coach dabbled in bright colored patent in 2015, including a textured patent that I found out was clearly a copy of Epi Electric. At the time I didn’t realize LV did anything other than mono and checkered canvas. Any idea if the Epi Electric is less prone to color transfer than Vernis? The preloved Vernis available show that it doesn’t seem to hold up well.
I'm glad it helped! The vernis is definitely not a great choice for wear and tear and I think the electric epi would be a bit better as the texture underneath should help but I would assume it would wear faster than regular epi.
