I compare the Louis Vuitton Dauphine MM bag against the Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis bag. I love them both but there are some clear differences which drive me crazy about the Dauphine.

Hi 👋🏼 New subscriber here. I have the Mini Dauphine bag and I absolutely love it. Mine just slightly curls out. I’m hoping with the smaller size that it won’t curl out too much.

I own 3 LV bags and one of them is pochette metis in canvas. Super love it. I prefer LV canvas more than their leather. My metis strap do melt up 😥 because i do wear it very often and its an old bag. Love canvas because its anti scratch and worriless when compared to C and H. It also can packed a big amount of stuffs compare to trendy CC. Oh why not u make a comparison video between metis and trendy cc? 😃 nice video btw

I would bring the Dauphine back in to LV and see what they say about the curling of the front flap. I have always liked the Dauphine but have the reverse PM (which I love) and thought they were too similar.

Yes that’s probably a good idea. It won’t hurt to mention it and see what happens. If you like the Dauphine clasp, maybe check out the reversible belt. I love it and you still get to enjoy the look :) Thank you so much for watching! ❤️

Thank you for the great review! I have a question regarding the piping on the flap. I’ve heard that it gets damaged quite easily because when u wear it the straps rub against it from both sides. Did you also have that problem? Thank you for the info.

Hi! I actually have not had that problem and don’t see any wear there. There is a metal piece of hardware that is on the side to prevent that from happening but nothing is 100% wear-proof even with that. I wear mine on the shorter shoulder strap usually but it’s not something that overly concerns me right now since it looks intact. I hope that helps.

Is it normal for the sides to curl up like that on the Dauphine? Maybe you can get some kind of soft clip to attach while you’re not using it?

Hi. I got the Dauphine MM bag since 2020 and just late last year I'm experiencing a bad scent of the leather strap? Do you experience this too?

Wow that is so strange 🤔 I just sniffed mine (lol) but there is no smell. I wonder if your strap rubbed on something without realizing? Maybe wiping it down with a slightly damp cloth might help?
