Thank you for modeling the bag. It really helped to get a better idea of the size of the bags. The GM didn't look all that big until you modeled it. Now I know I prefer the MM.
@@bjtaylor02 Do you still think that it is a good carry on bag for the plane? Does it fit under the seat comfortably? How do you protect against things falling out of it when push it under the seat?

While I love my Neverfull GM, I had to take it back to Louis Vuitton within a few months as the handles and the base of the handles where they attach shredded, cracked and peeled. When I took it back to Louis Vuitton, at first they were going to make me pay for repair. I was able to show my receipt and had to be firm before they agreed to replace the handles. Within a few months of that the lining of the pocket totally shredded. I decided to live with that. I use it a lot and test its name so it was no surprise that the base lost its firmness. I just saw that Etsy has a base shaper that I am going to try. What is disappointing is that I have some Louis Vuitton purses that are at least 25-30 years old that have held up better than the newer ones.
Very good comparison of the two bag sizes. Just had just stopped watching another person doing a comparison of the same two bags and she talked very little about the MM because her preference was the GM. She didn't cinch in the MM because she doesn't like it that way. So thank you for doing both bags equal justice.
After all these years and hundreds of comparison videos, this one is the best. I Have owned my monogram GM 3 years and it is my most used bag..hands down, it still looks as good as the day I bought it.. better actually

I’m getting my first LV for my 30th birthday in a few weeks. I’m going with the GM because I feel I can get a lot of use out of it because of its size (which helps me justify the price). I’m a drummer so the GM will definitely work for my sticks, practice pad, music books etc. Thank you for this helpful comparison!

Love this video very detailed and live the fact you loaded it with items we would use especially a laptop. I have a 15 in laptop. I'm a consultant so I needed a comparison. This is by far the best utube to compare the gm vs mm. Thank you! Your voice and description is loud and clear and was very helpful to hear on computer. I am having a hard time trying to decide. I like the Damier style for sure. Question...is your MK bag would you say the same size of the LV MM? The GM seems a bit bigger then I want but I can't totally tell. I usually get the MK bags and KS bags tote size. I def don't care for small totes.
with your review i have finally decided to buy the neverfull>thank u!! coz i was choosing between a totally mm or neverfull mm. i wanted th totally bcoz of the zip closure and the structured look, spacious etc except for the color since i prefer the damier.while the neverfull is pretty much the same but w/out the zip closure but when u showed me that a huge wallet will fit in the inside pocket( w/c is impt for me) .in both the mm and gm i think i have finally decided! thanks for the review!

I couldn't wait to get back to the office and put all my LV SMG's in her!!!! :P I wanted to hug her the whole way home on the train - LOL!!!! :P I love her so much, I'm actually contempleting getting a back-up of her for fear of loss in quaility, increase in price when it comes time to replacing her...

I can tell that this is the real one, since it seems so stiff as well. So many fake ones are on the market. I also did not know that, it was made from canvas.. I thought it was leather, or treated leather... So surprised ! This does change my estimation of the bag. For the price that it is now. For an entry level bag, then yes... But now, I am not too sure. I also do think that it is a great starter bag, wanting and needing to carry a lot of things. But these days, I have shrank my bag, to something that I can manage. I used to carry around 2 laptops.. and more. So around 3-4 Kg is normal for me. These days, I cannot do that any more. But this is so tempting.... I can see the MM being a lot smaller in size.

I’m almost 5’7” so I hope it looks smaller on me. Seeing your video confirms that I want a gm size. I kinda like the damier ebene print it’s growing on me but I love the pivoine interior 😩

Thanks so much for this review! I currently have a speedy 30 monogram and have been eyeing the Neverfull. I couldn't decide between the GM and MM, but MM would be perfect for school (I'm in college) I also think that even when i graduate, I could use it as an everyday bag. I think the GM would be just a little too big for me since all i carry is an iPad and a notebook. NOW my issue is deciding between Damier Ebene or Monogram! Thanks again !
Well I am intrigued to know, really. And especially since there is no mention of this other than 'leather trim'. I am not even sure of the trim on top of the bag now......I do know that Vachetta is unmistakable, being raw leather (as it were), but surely there should be some leather aroma with this bag......Id love to know what others think.....
See this will probably be my first buy as I can truly wear this everyday and pack all my daily essentials needed for my long workday. Now the ony thing I am debating about is the Neverfull in GM or MM I am 5' 2" and not sure in regards to the size.
I love this review because I've been considering this bag, but am concerned about the straps digging into my shoulders. I'm not sure if I'd use it that much because of this reason & also because of the straps cracking. For these reasons I'm considering buying this bag preloved. I like how you always model the bags because we're the same height and I can compare how bags will look on me. Have a great day !
+hrcubsgirl I actually ended up getting the large Gucci Sukey GG tote. I use it for travel and to carry my laptop around and I wanted something that would close securely at the top.

thank you for this video; now that you've acquired several other types of lv bags, would you buy the NF, again? if so, which size and why. if not, why? i have gone back and forth over the last couple of yrs and haven't bought one, but have purchased the retiro gm, palermo pm (which i've sold), the mono artsy gm (which i've sold) and have the keepall 45 in graphite. my workhorse is my de speedy 35. i'd LOVE you're input as i highly appreciate it and respect it. thanks in advance!
