Amen! The MCM Is such a spectacular bag! I wanted to get the Neverfull but by the time is graduated from grad school and could afford it 3 years later, the price had jumped from just over $800 to just over $1300! By that time, is already had the Liz tote and could not see anything better about the LV so I didn't get it. Great comparison video!

My mom got bags from the 80’s when she lived in germany and they are still in excellent condition. Meanwhile her louis and chanel bags are falling apart!

So happy I just made an MCM purchase. I think LV has kept their value in "prestige" rather than maintaining quality.

I just purchased my black leather MCM version of the speedy 30 bag. All leather bag at $650. Versus $3300 for the Louis Vuitton version. Gonna buy that tote in black or grey in December at Nordstrom online using Ebates during the10 points/dollar.

I just got this bag from Saks! It was a great deal. The price has gone up since you purchased, so it was original $725 and with the promo it dropped to $525 with 14% cash back on Ebates! I was eyeing the LV, but like you said the price wasn’t worth what I was getting f compared to MCM.

Aloha Joshie. Thank you for your review. Couldn’t agree with you more on the better value on the MCM vs the LV never full. I too, have the LV full like yours in GM. When I got my MCM Toni Visetos in the latter part of 2020, my never full has been safely stored since then. The MCM has become my every day work bag. It’s very sturdy, can withstand some loading (work files, MacBook, a hydro flask, wallet, keys,... it’s a work horse 😂). In regards to the luxury thing, it’s a bit of perspective of where you live IMO; like in Hawaii, never full are considered a dime a dozen even at their current price point, so the luxury trend right now here is Goyard and Dior, for instance when I travel to Asia, yes LV is considered a luxury brand but so is MCM ESPECIALLY in S. KOREA, Thailand and Singapore. Every one is crazy for Coach in Japan and they consider the brand “American Luxury “. Luxury for me is whatever makes you happy or feels good. So glad you did this video Joshie because I’ve been telling people for years that the MCM tote is such a great tote and honestly a better bag then the Neverfull. I still have my Neverfull that I carry from time to time just to get some wear out of it, but I own 3 of the MCM totes and I love them. I could never use my Neverfull as a work bag because I hate the straps because they’re so thin, dig in, and the strap drop is too short for me and I only wear the Neverfull in the summer, spring, and sometimes in the fall because if I wear anything heavier then a cardigan, the Neverfull won’t fit comfortably on my arm. The quality of MCM is amazing and consistent unlike LV. I’ve never paid full price for any of my MCM bags....and of course I can’t say that with LV lol...I’ve been working MCM since the 90s and their prices rarely go up. They go up some but not several times a year like LV....

I was just having this conversation with my co worker. MCM bags are made so much better than the LV Neverfull . I have both bags in the larger sizes and my go to bag is my MCM bag. Its pretty frustrating that I have to be extra careful when wearing my LV bag to not get a wear or tear. I feel you should not have to do that when you spend $1300 on a bag! The leather on the MCM bag is much softer and flexible as opposed to the rather stiff leather on the LV Neverfull. Both bags are gorgeous however, the better choice is the MCM! I have the mcm tote in black, just ordered the tan one last night neverfull - treated myself for Christmas. This bag is amazing. I love it. Glad I have gift cards to purchase the tan one.

I don't care about prestige either. I care about design and quality. The MCM bag is just a much better buy. The design is great and it's a newer brand. I am convinced I'm more interested in collecting the MCM bags than anything else. (Except my Chanel classic double flap holy Grail bag lol)

I loved this review and you're absolutely right. I was personally wanting to get a black or brown mcm bag and you're definitely getting more bang for your buck with an mcm. $700 compared to $2100 is a no brainier. Thanks for the wonderful video.

I purchased my first MCM billfold, after which, I immediately when to the Louis Vuitton boutique to compare. They are the exact same look and feel. However, the Louis billfold was more than twice the price I paid for my MCM. I'm very satisfied that I made the right purchase.

Thank you for this comparison. You just sold me on the MCM bag. I’ve been eyeing the Neverfull for years & have watched countless videos on the bag. I think for the price Louis Vuitton is good for accessories vs actually buying a bag that I would have to baby.

My husband bought me this large Liz last February... we went to the Louie store first. Then, MCM... the Liz was waay better quality than the Neverfull. -hands down... So, I took the Liz... So glad I did. Louis Vuitton is overrated.

LV changed its canvas I have a 2014 duffle and purchased a 2019 duffle and I returned it the material is not the same. Going MCM

Great Great Video, LV never full was my first option, I went to the store a couple of times I try to buy it but, something is missing on this bag in my opinion, when I visit the MCM store I was sure I want this bag, and you are so right, 24 k gold plated, more leather. Thanks

I never figured out or liked the liz straps so I cut them off! It is much roomier than the Neverfull and I love the canvas!

Love your video I love my large MCM . Just received it today ;love love it . I chose red and it is popping . I have the Neverful Gm and it is getting repair , a lot of peeling . So I totally agree they're not as good of quality . People should focus on quality over believing the hype about LV. I just bought a speedy 35 which is my second one , the first one was $800 . The second was double in price . I buy all my bags off of the LV website. Their quality has went down and prices are continues increasing ;. Not okay . I heard they burn all the bags they don't sell to increase the price

My first MCM Liz large AND the zip around wallet will arrive in a few days! I have 2 vintage LV...folks make way too much fuss over LV. I have several Coach Original bags that I would save over any LV! Love your channel!

I was looking at a review people were dogging MCM the bag I have is tougher than a boot. I’ve had it for a while still looks great. They said the logo was corny but all brands have their logos on bag I have a Boston bag but just ordered the Liz with the pouch. Love it and love your review! They not as expensive as Louie but darn if they are cheap some people can’t even afford a MCM.

What a beautiful bag. Am eyeing the medium black but it is a little hard to find here in Aus. Nothing replaces LV SLG’s though and I love my collection. I don’t have the LV never full and did end up buying the Iena instead in DE. I think a black MCM would be a great addition to my totes.

I do not have the mcm but i have the neverfull and you right i had to exchange mine because of the leather buckling...was wondering if you have tried Faure Le Page tote..its not very well known in the us but popular in France..well made and much better than Goyard IMO

Another awesome comparison video. You're so funny when you voice your disgust for the price increase....I'm right there with you. It's beyond ridiculous. The prices keep going up while the quality keeps going down. MCM is a great luxury brand. I love that you rarely run into someone who's carrying one, unlike LV which is literally everywhere you look. MCM is more popular in Europe than here in the US. You see them a lot in New York as well. I'm still rocking my Anya Top Zip Shopper by MCM. Love your bags and love your videos!

I have the Smaller sized MCM tote bag and I absolutely would say it’s a better quality bag than a LV tote bag.

Thank you for another great video. My hubby ordered me the same one in Cognac large. And I love it! I haven’t worn it yet. But I did order some luxury style bag charms off of amazon and a extra large purse organizer to go inside. But I’m happy I chose the large size and not the medium. I have always loved designer bags I just recently treated my self to a LV Speedy 30 in Damier Ebene. I watched a lot of RU-vid videos on the Speedy and never full, and Is so happy I chose the Speedy instead. I’m in one of the Louis Vuitton addict groups on FB. And lately I have seen so many pictures of the Neverfull bags cracking etc. one lady recently took hers back to LV and they fixed the leather trimming for FREE. So if I were you? I would go right up there and get them to fix it. It take a few weeks but worth the wait! There’s NO WAY I’m paying that kind of money on a bag to wear a few times to start cracking etc. And they have the nerve to have went up almost $200 on the price too?!?? 🤦🏽‍♀️ Baby Byeee 😂 We needed more videos for the MCM Liz tote!! The neverfull bag sucks in my opinion !! 1400$ down the drain. After 2 years mine is all cracked and horrible. I’m going to try the MCM tote and I’m hoping I have a better experience.

I have the medium in the MCM black shopper and love it...I have had it almost 3 years and have barely any wear, I use the pouch as a small evening bag. I am able to fit a 15 inch laptop and so much more. MCM is very well made and even though I have 2 LV pieces I do feel that MCM is just as nice. I also like that not that many people carry it especially the black color.

I love the MCM Liz tote! I just got the all leather version in the cognac color. It's the same as the regular medium size but it's leather and the strip down the middle is monogram canvas so the materials are reversed. I was actually looking for the one you have but found the leather version on sale 40% off and I couldn't resist. The quality can't be beat for the price. It puts my LV bags to shame. The hardware on my LV south bank has already broken after only one month and my LV neo noe had to be replaced 3 times because of defects.

Great video again :). Thanks to you, I picked up my first LC in cuir .. thanks a lot .. lol. I think now I am going to have to look at MCM .. just hope the drop length works for me. BTW, $1400 is not bad ;) .. here in Canada, the NF GM is almost $1800 before taxes!

Great comparison and review. I agree that it's foolish to pay for the prestige of a bag if it's going to fall apart soon. LV used to create quality bags but they started mass producing them and the quality went down. Also, where is the prestige where everyone and their mother is carrying one. 😜 You work hard for your money and you deserve to get what you pay for. The MCM is a great quality bag and it looks classy. Good for you on deleting the negative comments. Your channel, your opinions. TFS. 😊

I agree with your comparison. I totally agree with you that Louis Vuitton have lost quality in their bags. I know because I own two. I will never purchase one again. Joshie do you own a kavu. They are very cheap bags. They have some on sale at Dillards. I just ordered one on line. The print is wild woods. Nice sling when you want to be hands free. Take care my friend. 💕
