Louis Vuitton Secret! Protect Your Vachetta Leather From Staining and Darkening Unevenly - Tutorial 

No they do not bother me at all. This bag is meant to be folded when you travel. When I fly I always fold my speedy up and place it in my backpack. I din’t like to wear my speedy 35 into the airplane as a carry-on because its too big to place under the seat in front of me and its too risky to place it in the upper head compartment cuz other people might squish it or scratch it when they shove their own bags and stuff inside. You know how terrible people can be and only care about themselves and not care for other people’s properties so I never trust people to actually care enough. I fold my speedy up and store it inside my backpack until I arrive to my destination. That is when I unfold it again and use it as my main bag until its time to fly back again. Then I fold it up again and store it in my backpack during the flight back. The folds do not disturb me at all. They are a part of the design of this specific bag. The speedy was designed to be carried inside a suitcase or other luggage until arrival to destination, where it would be used to run quick errands on the town or to facilitate a comfortable tourist journey once one has landed at destination.

@@SuperDacob yeah I’ve seen you mention this before and it obviously arrives folded. My damier ebene though ironed itself out but my mono holds the creases. I’ve watched other videos that have scared me where they said creases in canvas may lead to cracking

Me too. I used baby wipes on my Neverfull handles and it worked 👏🏽 Also, I rub pure coconut oil on my vachetta bags with cottonwool to get a honey patina 😊

@@CarolCreates yesssss! I don't always want to wait for the patina process, so I use even baby oil to instantly patina one or two of my LV bags. also doing that I find the patina to be even throughout and doesn't get the water spots.🤣

@@Laurenlilly902 yep 👍 I initially did it by mistake. I was moisturising my body and I got a spot of oil on the vachetta of one of my bags. It stayed there for a long while. Then one day I noticed how the spot mark had turned a lovely honey colour. So I rubbed all my vachetta bags with coconut oil. Doesn’t leave a water mark. Just a lovely light colour. I don’t like stark white vachetta you get on new bags.

Enjoy it. I wear my monogram speedy almost every day since over a year now and its patina-ing so beautifully. I do wipe it with baby wipes after almost each wear though. 💖💖💖

Some people do but I have not used it on my bags.

I like the change of color too but I prefer the darkening to happen all over the surface and not unevenly and more so in the spots where you hold the bag. I like the patina to happen all over the vachetta evenly so that the entire surface gets honey brown the same way. The baby wipes help me achieve that look. 💖

Thanks Amber 🙏🏻💖 I hear people use apple guard quite a bit on their leathers in general but I personally only use baby wipes on my LV vachetta leather bits and no other products for now.

Apple guard spray works wonderfully. Colonol carbon pro is another one people swear by but I have not tried it
