I love the speedy 20! I have the new speedy nano and it has the upgraded shiny hardware 😍 I think that's why it's about $400 more 😳 but I love it!! Great video hun! ❤️❤️❤️

I love mine too. I noticed that the side leather tabs ( made in france etc..) I feel the simple triangle thread on a large leather tab is not enough reinforcement. For instance if I swing my speedy 20 around shoulder to shoulder, have a few extra items inside the bag or would like to switch straps in a rush. I feel the string will not withstand. So I have been only carring hand held because of that small bit of thread. What is your observation. Did they improve the new batch. P.s My nano speedy even if I have it over full. I don't worry...it has a small leather side tab and tough reinforced stitching. I had it for 4 years. I have cut the strap of change straps and swing it around carefree.
Thanks for pointing that out on the Speedy 20! I checked mine, and agreed the side flaps are only sewn on with a triangle area in the middle and not further reinforced around the entire leather tab so I can see your concern that it may not withstand time. I personally haven't used the bag a lot yet and am actually debating on exchanging it for the speedy 25 as I feel it is still a bit small. Thanks for watching and commenting!! ❤️
Isn't it so annoying how some bags are so exclusive/hard to get?! Did you try looking on authorized retailers? I like fashionphile and see some on there, however expect to pay a little higher than retail for it :(
would you recommend the nano speedy or the speedy 20 as a first bag? I have a very slight build, size xs and think the speedy might be a bit bulky? But do you think the nano speedy is still "in"? I am almost 21 and 5'4 :) I am also considering the pochette accessories because it could be used at night but i think the nano is cuter?
Hi! I love both the speedy nano and the speedy 20. I also think the nano is SO CUTE! As your first bag, I feel the speedy 20 is more functional and therefore would recommend that! It has a cute smaller look but It holds more (including my iphone while the nano doesn't) therefore the speedy 20 is more convenient without being too big like the larger sized speedys. Question, how are the rivets aligned on your Speedy 20? You mentioned that they weren’t aligned upright on your Nano. The rivets on my Speedy 20 say Louis Vuitton whereas on your Nano are the initials LV. They are so small that it never even dawned on me to see how they were aligned 🤷🏻♀️so I checked for the hell of it and the rivets on my Speedy 20 aren’t aligned upright (mine was made in France). I’m not going to make an issue of it because it is minor and you can barely see what it says anyway but you certainly brought it to my attention. In fact, they’re not aligned on any of my Speedy bags. I have several but I think I’m just done with LV and their quality issues. I bought the new Nano Speedy with the detachable strap but had to return it because one of the handles was so badly crooked that it was definitely obvious. I just can’t with them anymore. 🤦♀️
Hi- thanks for watching! The rivets on the Speedy 20 are aligned with Vuitton on the top, and Louis on the bottom. They're centered properly however I'm not sure if its suppose to be Louis or Vuitton on the top. Considering the price increases, I also agree about quality issues and have had to return some bags as well- definitely with the speedy nano in terms of the rivets and one even had a bumpy zipper! Wish the speedy came with king leather straps the bag is expensive enough now I gotta buy extra straps and an expensive charm Such a good size Are they all made in France and say that on the side??
Hello! Not all speedy's are made in France--some are made in Italy and USA I think? The bags should come a little tag/card that says where its made. Agreed that the charms are expensive! Etsy and amazon has lots of non-LV but supercute bag charms! Enjoy!! ♥
Haha! I was the SAME way! I love the cuteness of the nano, but the speedy 20 is SO much more useable! I ended up selling this monogram speedy 20 and getting the monoglam speedy20 instead and love the size! Thanks for watching!! ❤❤❤
Hi! At the time when the nano and speedy20 first came out, they were both so rare and hard to get that I had to order them online without seeing them in store first. Now adays, I think most places should be able to offer either of these in store for you to see. Thanks for watching!!
I hate that they make the new nano with the adjustable strap smaller. I’m too picky that I don’t even want to buy a preloved over priced original nano speedy.
