Thank you loves for watching! This is my way of doing this that I have learned from other bag lovers and my friend Carolyn. Also what is not seen in the video for time purposes, is that after the bag dries from conditioning, I buff it before spraying ❤️. I also Wipe OFF the Apple guard spray as soon as I can when it does get on the CANVAS 😊 . Have a blessed day everyone!
We don’t have the apple garde here and Amazon doesn’t ship it to our area maybe because it’s flammable? I really don’t know. Instead, I used the Kiwi boot leather protector 🤦♀️😅 for my Pochette Metis. Very helpful video. Thank you so much for sharing, dear, and have a great new week! 💝
Hello! I’ve been using Collonil Carbon Pro for both of my LV (with vachetta), Gucci Marmont leather and Chanel (light colored) handbags since 2017 and haven’t had any issues. I believe Apple Guard and other similar brands work the same 🥳👍🏻🙌🏻 Hmmmm.... I actually spray the “entire bag” of my LVs that have vachetta leather as it also protects the canvas. I also do the same with my Chanel (light colored) and Gucci Marmont leather handbags 🥰🥳
@@chexy04 Yup, I sprayed my entire Speedy B25 and my other handbags. I mentioned it on my last video, “LV Collection (Monogram).” Check it out when you have a chance 🥳😘
Oh this tutorial helps so much, especially people like me who are so scared to do anything to vachetta 😅 I wanna treat my Speedy Nano but I am terrified of ruining my precious bag lol
Hi! I bought a brand new pochette Métis and used a tiny bit of bick 4 and now I’m seeing I shouldn’t have used it on brand new vachetta. Don’t think it will ruin it?
Great video. I just bought two NF and I have two Speedy 30 . Is it ok the use the Apple Guard without conditioning first ( since my vachetta isn’t cracking or showing any designs of dryness)? I bought the Apple Guard . I just want to know if one has to condition bag first . Thanks .
Thank you for sharing! I don’t really clean my lv bags with anything except baby wipes or cotton fabric and water. Will those 2 cleaning sprays lighten the Vacheta leather? I am asking because i have the older pieces i want to know how to clean them. Thanks!
The conditioner won’t lighten the vachetta but what I like is that I won’t darken it as well.. the apple guard also doesn’t change the color but will only protect from liquids... I think there are some tricks out there to try and lighten vachetta but I have personally tried yet ❤️
Oh wow. Never used the other brands just the apple brand Garde. Thanks for sharing this method to protect the Vachetta leather. Which reminds me to re-spray again. I usually do it every 6 months. Great video sis!💕
This was such a helpful video, thanks for sharing love! Your bags look flawless!! This video is also reallllly making me want to invest in a Neonoe and pochette metis! I'm meant to be on a spending ban haha. Have a fabulous weekend honey! ❤️
Thank you so much!! They are truly good bags. I am on ban island for now as well well I’m planning my next little beauty to add to my collection. Which one do you think you will go for first?
Lucky 6th 💚|| Hi Babe, I've never really thought about treating my LV bags as I have no idea how to nor we were supposed to until recently. Had I known perhaps I would have saved some of my oldish LV collection and saved it from browning. You've done such pro job in showing us how easy it is to use this product. Honestly I can see this video going viral in the days to come because of the step by step process. Pretty cool Chex! Love it and I'm so happy to see you broaden your content. Congratulations my dear friend. xox
Thank you dear for always supporting! I really want to vachetta to last a while. I don't mind patina but I unfortunately do not enjoy very dark vachetta. I love sharing what I know with other lux lovers and I learned everything from my lux friends and youtube as well. Sharing is caring =)
Hi Judith 😊! I do it everyone 6 months and I was taught to cover the canvas part by other experienced collectors but I have seen other people spray the whole bag.. I just try not to put chemicals on the canvas as it doesn’t need much help and I would hate to crack it or have it peel as it’s not meant to be conditioned since it is not leather... I hope that helps 😊 and I appreciate your support with the video ❤️
I love this video. Did you clean them first with waterwipes? Or you just condition them right away? Then apple guard? This video is very helpful. Thank you for sharing
You can wipe you bag with water wipes if you want to... Before conditioning... it depends on when I just wiped them down... I just cleaned them with wipes a few days ago so I didn’t need to 😊
Thank you so much for sharing your tips, love this 😍 I use Bick 4 too, did you let it dry first before applying the apple guard on the vachetta? I use saddle soap too but only on my vintage LV's if I need of a deep clean. Thank you Chex 😍😘👍💖
@@chexy04 Hi !you condition the bag and let it dry until the next day?then buff it out and then spray with apple guard?im saving for my first bag and I’m into the petit noe!

You are so welcome!!! I was afraid too in the beginning but after talking to my most trusted bag loving friends, I finally did it and got over the fear. =)
Hi! Finally! Thank you so much for sharing info on the Bik 4 Leather Conditioner! You said it does not darken vachetta but will it on vachetta that is dry and porus? Your vachetta looks pretty new. It didnt darken at all? Thank you! Look forward to your reply!❤
I have had the Apple guard for two months now and after watching your video I finally have the guts to use it on my petite noe. Thanks! Also Can you tell me what Etsy shop you got your top handle from?
I am so glad you found the video helpful ❤️. Here is the link for my original noe video and in the description box I have the Etsy store linked 😉. Have a blessed day!! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jgePlbBIBVQ.html
Can you do this for the regular leather? I have the On the Go in the Empreinte leather and I can't find anyone who speaks about how to protect and treat it
As I see your bag are new I’m a collecting vintaged LVS MOSTLY SPEEDYS AND BANDOLIER so it’s older and looks darker browned May iknow IF spray it with apple guard spray it will go back to original color ?
Hi Salve, it will not lighten your vachetta, it will however protect it from future water contact. The patina process will still continue even after you spray 😊
Hi Char! Oh do this on my new bags. I did it for the pochette metis and the noe BB was not previously treated when I got it. Let me know how it turns out! You can always do it on a small area of the strap to try first 😉
Whispering toddler😂😂😂that’s funny. I have one of those in my videos most of the time😂. Awesome video. I love using the Apple guard brand on my leather as well. Thanks for sharing 🤗
He was extra attached to my hip that day and did really well other than the intro part lol. Stayed in the corner while mommy Face timed NOBODY in the IPAD Lol. Glad you are an apple guard fan as well! Have a blessed Tuesday!
My hands are sweating while watching your video sis 😅..big thanks for doing this video coz I just bought a bag with Vachetta leather & my SA told me to not put anything to clean it 😅... time to order apple guard😉 thank you sis for sharing❤️
Thank you for watching sis! I think they are trained to tell you NOT to put anything on them. Which in the grand scheme of things is OK lol, but I would like to try and keep it looking great longer if I could. I have been caught in the rain with the PM before and so far she is still looking amazing =). Glad you found this helpful!
Hi...Thank you for this video. I have never tried to use anything on my LV. I need to save your video. I love your bag. It is perfect! Your vachetta is perfect! This is a very helpful video. Thank you for sharing your conditioning tips .Have a lovely evening ❤️
Hi Ms Chex =) So happy and excited to watch all your videos. Thanks for the shared tips. By the way, your woven cloth and its color match you great. You look so pretty awesome =)
Thank you for sharing this! I've never sprayed my vachetta but have always been curious about Apple Guard. Great video to reference from when the time comes!💕
I love to learn especially how to maintain your bags stuff like that haha! Thanks so much for sharing. I cant wait to apply it on my LV bags. I also have this type of product at home but haven’t been able to apply on my bags yet...but i do it with all other leather shoes since it’s raining a lot in where i live. The bottom of the leather of your bag looks so delicate but it looks totally fine after it is dried ooooo that is amazing 😉 thanks again for sharing!!! Have a great day!
You are so welcome! It looks scary at first but I have not have any issues with the product. I use it for my shoes too lol, I want everything to last. Let me know how it goes =)
Glad it was helpful! I was taught by a friend who conditions her bags every 6 months to add moisture back. I don’t live in a humid place so I also don’t want them to crack or dry out. Thank you for watching ❤️
I wish I knew about this before on how to treat the LV vachetta. This looks great sis. Im gonna get one now for my bags. I love the Collonil for my lighter bags too. Hi to the little on for me. 😊❤️
@@MsAvie758 Some people will spray it to the canvas. In this particular video I use the apple guard, but colonil is also effective. I try not to spray the canvas as it does not need water proofing. I hope that helps 😊
Thank you for sharing! I will definitely try this on my petit. Does it lighten the vachetta and take out spots? I’m not sure if you mentioned it and I just missed it. 🤦🏻♀️. Thank you!
It does not change the current color of your vachetta or remove the current water spots. It will protect it from future spots 😊... the leather condition is really good tho, conditions without changing the color ❤️
Glad I could help! I was always taught to try to cover the canvas as much as I can and wipe OFF it the canvas. I have heard of some people spraying the whole bag as well.
Hi there just watch your video thank you I will try both . My question I just purchased I new Alma pm so I will treat it before using however last month also bought a multicolor alma which I love but handles are slightly dirty, what do recommend to clean before conditioner and spray? Thank you for help. Lisa
Hi lisa! I will usually clean the leather with water wipes, then wipe it dry. Then I use the bickmore to condition as I doesn’t further darken the patina on your vachetta leather 😊. It may help get some of the dirt out as well.
Hi Franchesca... I was wondering when I conitioned my Vachetta on my Noe bb, I forgot to buff it & applied the Apple Guard, will that affect the vachetta? & do u recommend Doing this conditioning & treatment every 6 months? Thank you.
Hi dear! It should be ok if you didn’t buff the first time. I do that just do everything is even and the conditioner help the back look more shine vs dull. I condition and spray every 6 months 😊
Hey Chex! Thank you for this video! How often do you condition and spray with Apple guard? I just purchased my pochette Métis 😄 and how long did you wait before you conditioned/sprayed to bag before the first use?
Hi Hazel! Happy Holidays! I only put it on the leather parts which is the vachetta. Canvas bags don’t need conditioning (but it won’t hurt if you do ❤️) but if you have an all leather bag like an empreinte bag, then bick 4 would go all over that as well. I hope that helps sweets!
I have a question how much time do you wait between the conditioning and Apple guard? I just ordered my Petit Noe and I want to try these two products. Thank you for sharing!
Hi Chex... This is my 1st time doing this... & I was wondering do u moisterize The Vachetta first, then you spray with the apple guard? which step comes 1st ? Thks Chex.
Hi dear! I moisturize first because you would want that moisture for the leather. The apple guard goes on top 😊 don’t forget to buff the leather when the moisturizer dries, then spray with apple guard ❤️
