LOUISBURGH CO MAYO 

I stayed in Louisburgh some twenty years back with my wife, daughter in law and baby granddaughter. A very pleasant place and even the teenagers were polite and friendly! The only problem was that the local pub music session didn't start till 10.30, way past my bedtime. Maay you be blessed and prosper.

Love the old street lights. Streets spotlessly clean. And no ugly telephone or electricity cable - well done Louisburgh!

Gate way to Clare island . Leenane. Achill numerous beautiful safe beaches but pls read the beach signs . Westport a few miles away a great day out . And night out as well!It’s a lovely village just the right size and you never know you might be there when Mayo win the all Ireland ! Few nice places to eat in louisburgh and loads of places in Westport. You can travel back to the silver strand and book the hidden: lost valley tour... it’s amazing . Well worth a visit ... and I’m not from mayo .. but the West’s awake for sure.❤️
