I know, that was the most amazing part. Not only that, I just watch the entire recovery. They managed to pull it back up onto the bridge deck by the trailer and it stayed connected the whole time. How is that even possible? Also the truck driver must have already unloaded, or at least she must have had a minimum load. If they trailer had been fully loaded, the load would have shifted forward and sent the truck into the river. The truck driver should probably play the lottery.

Goodness gracious, the last time I saw such a terrifying ordeal was in Superman 3. What an absolutely terrifying yet heroic ordeal. Outstanding job, firefighters!!!!

Amazing skill and courage. What a rescue. Thanks to firemen, rescue superheros. Wish cars would be a little more considerate towards trucks and give them more room. They cannot brake that fast, given the load and weight.

Great work guys! We lost a close family friend about 50 years ago in an incident just like that! Except the truck didn't get stuck in that case, it went all the way over crushing the driver! He was our friend! Save a mother and daughter in the process though!

Thanks God for the firemen, the real American heroes. The rescuer agreed with the truck driver , thanking the Lord for protection. Then the angels came swiftly , to bring assistance for the rescue effort.

How impressive that you cracked the case. Pretty sure you just started typing as you were watching the video. Without saying your completely wrong, but that looks like a local delivery truck since it doesn't have a sleeper cab. I haven't seen any report about how the accident happened, so I'll wait till it's figured out instead of instantly pointing fingers at someone.

That bridge is extremely narrow. It was raining, slippery and cold so an accident happened. Nothing to do with hours worked for the truck driver.

Ill tell you what all kind of crazy stuff always seems to happen in, over or around that Ohio river. Anywhere from the start of it in Pittsburgh all the way to it's end in Illinois, expect the unexpected anywhere around it's vicinity. I grew up in Pittsburgh, also lived in Ohio and currently live in south Illinois, it is a strange river trust me.
