Despite giving up 28 points in the second quarter, Louisville defeated Georgia Tech in the Aflac Kickoff Game, 39-34. For the Cardinals, Jack Plummer picked up 3 of the Cardinals’ touchdowns through the air on 247 yards. Jawhar Jordan added a touchdown of his own on the ground to seal the game. Georgia Tech’s offensive explosion in the second quarter came thanks to QB Hayes King, who threw for 313 yards and 3 touchdowns. RB Trey Cooley added 2 touchdowns on the ground.

Even though this was a neutral site game, it's still somewhat a home game for Georgia Tech since they play in Atlanta lol

What kind of cuts are these? We're going from plays where it's 0 - 0, then it's 6 - 14, then it's a field goal to make it 3 - 0, then it's back to 6 - 14, now we're seeing a play when it is 6 - 0.

Don’t understand how this targeting rule is supposed to work. Defense is at a massive disadvantage

you have to keep your eyes up when you launch a tackle. it’s a rule for safety reasons first and foremost and tackling with your head down can lead to paralysis or death. it’s more of a deterrent to protect defenders from theirselves than it is a punishment for hitting the offense too hard
