However I did buy two when Loungefly had a sale recently with the Cindy holiday castle & the breast cancer one. Had no idea the small shops were having these problems but I have been hearing about the bags being sold at Burlington but you also mentioned Ross & Marshall's, etc! That is crazy to think how much profit they made on us & mostly from the hype of exclusivity driving the sales 😳

I guess we all didn't see this coming!😭 I never received my previous order. I never had a problem with Merch ventures before till now not knowing they were closing. 😑
Makes me not want to buy any more. I like my collection but i feel the money value is going down on the bags. I think they should stop making so many and it would hold the value. But know they want to make the most profit.

Yeah, I preordered the Steamboat Willie bag from Merch Venture. Evidently there was some issues with ALL of the bags and they had to send them back. It took over a year for the bag to get to me. I took them off my small shop list because the customer service was poor.
I had preordered the Hello Kitty pumpkin bag and change purse in October and Merch Ventures said that it won’t be released until March 2024 and now I’m seeing this !! 😩
They sold too many bags at once. Th market was over saturated. If they can release less a month they will do better. They need to be more thoughtful with what designs get approved.

Oh how I know that’s feeling Which is why I didn’t like them returning But to see a bag I paid full price and it’s not even a year in store for half off I haven’t seen one of purchase full show up But I don’t want to either

I stopped pre-ordering. I preordered (2) 50th funko pops from early 2021. But I never received anything. I kept contacting the shop and funko. Funko told me I needed to handle the situation the shop. I went to their site, and it was gone. I went to claim a file and was told it was too late. Funds gone!
After something like that I know for me I would’ve preordered nothing else I don’t preorder from no one Not even Boxlunch if I can avoid it Don’t want my order canceled
@sweetwheels6857 At this point, all the stuff that comes up as a preorder drops on loungefly or another larger site like boxlunch,fye or gamestop...etc So I just wait. And now that they are at Marshall's forget about it. AND the quality hasn't been great lately either.
@LADYmoses I agree If it’s not an exclusive anymore I just wait for Boxlunch and hot topic myself Might as well wait to get hot cash and Boxlunch money Seeing them at those locations It’s just a bit sad to see
