Hi, I’m about to order the Loupedeck CT and I saw Szymon’s video about using It to control Resolve (by far the best CT review for me as it shows the usefulness from a working pro perspective really using it!-) I have 2 questions before triggering the order: - How is the hardware going after 1 year of use (and abuse)? (Buttons stickiness or coming off, knobs loosening…?) - How is the precision and smoothness using the big wheel to change values under mouse hovering, specially with the color wheels, white balance & tint… Better & finer control than with the mouse? Thank you if you can take the time to answer… and thank you for the useful review and downloadable profile that I will use as a starting point and tune to fit my workflow!-)
Szymon, thank you for this video, I want to ask, is it possible to make changes in the inspector with it? like X and Y position and scale? also can you control the speed change in the inspector? I would like to able to use these functions as the dials. would appreciate your input and response. Dzieki!
at the moment there is no such possibility because there are no shortcuts to this, maybe from version 18 Blackmagic will unlock the mapping of other functions from the interface
I've had a Loupedeck CT for a few years now and love it, but I am now finding the jog wheel is driving me crazy. It now seems to insist on completing all your commands. So you jog wheel forward on a timeline and then want to jog back but it continues going. I think it might be just an issue on my system, but I wondered if anyone else was having this problem?
Hi there, unfortunately, the new app doesn't support older profiles. However, I encourage you to download the official one from the Loupdeck website; it can be customized as needed. Best regards!
Victor Vanzinetti Yes and no. The keyboard is definitely a product for the newsroom and is designed for Cut Page. Loupdeck, on the other hand, is a universal tool that you can use successfully in the Cut Page as well as in other tabs or other editing programs. Additionally it is worth knowing that the Blackmagic keyboard is dedicated to Mac. It’s annoying on Windows.
Has anyone here figured out a creative way to scrub a bit faster with the main job wheel other than "move 1 frame forward"? Obviously there is "move 1 second forward" but that's drastic. I find using JKL hard to control. Any thoughts? I thought of maybe mapping a macro of (Shift --> + Shift-->) to step forward 2 frames at a time, but you can't map macros to the dials.
