Love and War with Spoken Word Artist Andrea Gibson 

Man, I'm sitting here, shaking and tearing up right now, in the middle of a public library at how touching and true her words resonate

the world needs more andrea gibsons... it would be a better place

She is absolutely beautiful.

And this is why I write. I could only dream of being half as good as Andrea Gibson. She's just amazing.

I don't think there has ever been anything that can make me cry almost instantly. Seriously. And I don't really cry. Good lord.

I would do anything to see her in person. All her poems leave me speechless

I have goosebumps. She is beyond amazing. Inspiration. Perfection.

Pure gold!! I thought the "beepbeetibabatababee..." song was a joke at first, but it just blew me away in the end. Such a passionate poet.

i listen to this in the hopes that her rhythms and beauty will permeate into my mind and I can borrow it for a while to give a skeleton to all these feelings i have inside. so beautiful

Andrea, You may never see this comment. But I have to try to reach you anyway. You give me a great gift by your first poem. I have not even watched the rest of this video yet. I cannot believe the beauty that you have brought forth to me. I can't believe it. Yet, there it is. In the most perhaps cliche, yet humble way I tell you thank you. Thank you for softening my granite heart with your angelic words. Thank you for restoring in me some sense of faith in the future of humanity.

cried. cry every single fucking time i listen to it and i listen to it often just for that first spoken word to just give me hope. damn. beautiful and powerful. " this is the time you went through hell so someone wouldn't have to..."

oh god...I wasnt ready for the first one, I definitely easnt ready for the second one, and I DAMN sure wasnt ready for the third one!!! I think my heart stop from the beginning of the third to the end...

Uh... I'm a singer, song writer, I also write poetry that's what music is. I also write my screen plays and theater. This is amazing, but I am beginning to understand I don't think I could do this, it's much like Rap and I can't talk that fast. So for all the poets who do this kuddos... It's not an easy thing to do, just like some can't play and sing at the same time... It's amazing words, and knowing how this feels... As I am also an American Veteran... I know and have felt all 3 poems before.
