Most definitely! My family would have to have BBQ Pork Steak, Colby Jack Cheese with carmelized onion in lieu of pickles. Love Y'all Big! ❤

Oh man, these would be the star at a tailgate. Instead of swiss, I'd love to put a spoon of mac and cheese. Maybe leave out the pickle and definitely top with bacon. OmG, I'm getting so hungry! Great show, Miss Paula!! 👍❤ P.S. Hot pastrami and yellow mustard would work well here, as well.

I love these little sandwiches. They are great for any kind of party. Baby swiss is my favorite too Paula. You need you a counter or a table by your convection oven to sit your dish on while you open the doors. I would have dropped it for sure. Take care yall and have a lovely day. Love and best dishes

I have made a version of these but I brush the top bun with melted butter and sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning. It really gives it nice flavor.

When I make these...I put some horseradish in with my mayo. It gives it an extra tang. So good!

What a great way to start the day with you Paula. I just love watching you. I am so glad I found you on youtube. I have a firestick and I had found you on one of my apps, and started watching you a few weeks ago, but on youtube I can comment. I just love you so much. I sure have missed you. I love these! I also made mine with pork loin, bbq sauce and swiss cheese. It was so delicious! They are great also for taking to homes for funerals, anniversary parties where you have single bites, and even birthday parties. Everytime it is a hit. Also, did a reuben style sandwich as well. FYI- Aldi's has a smaller size Hawaiian rolls that are alot less expensive.

Have done this similar recipe for years but omit the mayo and combine softened butter, fresh minced garlic and poppyseeds and spread on the bread then the meat and cheese. Not so sure about the bacon though, adds flavor but toughness to a soft delicate sandwich. I do add a bit of worcestershire sauce to the spread.

She's not a "helper." She is an employee who gets paid for doing her job, and is good at it. People often misuse language, helping is voluntary, and mostly doesn't include a salary.

I had forgotten about these delicious sandwiches!! Back about 6 years ago my nephew’s wife made these and invited us over to eat! Oh my goodness they were absolutely delicious!! After that I started making them. We had these probably about once every other week. Then I kind of forgot about them until now when I saw this video! Thank you Paula for bringing so many wonderful memories!! We will start eating these again!! I need to go to the store tomorrow anyway, so I’ll had this to my list of groceries!! Thanks again Paula!! It's a shame no one would help her with that oven door--that dish could've ended up on the floor, and then they would've been sorry! Paula, if you're going to use that oven you need a counter next to it to set the dish on while you open/close the doors (and not a trash can). It could be one of those small rolling carts that they now make for kitchens.

I’ve made similar sandwiches with just ham for meat. Yummy! Try the non-stick foil. Reynolds makes it and oftentimes there’s a store brand available for less $.

We make these with ham and swiss, a mix of mayo and dijon and everything bagel seasoning on top. Ugh so good!!!!! I just love your recipes, your way and especially the old time atmosphere of your home, with all the family and friends around. This was how it used to be with all of us around the kitchen with cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents... I hope someday to have a life like this again. This to me is what Heaven must be like. A kitchen full of family and a beautiful garden out back, enjoying all the seasons and bounty of life.

Love these sandwiches! I've made them with ham and cheese, roast beef and turkey , chicken and ham, used several different cheeses. I add dried minced onion to the butter. These sandwiches are sooo good! I want to make some with Salmon and shrimp or salmon and shrimp salad. Thanks for sharing! Get rid of those allergies soon! ( i'm GA girl too and have my share!) I made mine a bit bigger and with sough dough, Canadian bacon black forest ham bacon lightly toasted on the outside cut in half with the brown mustard which was on hand it's what I had on hand

I am watching while in the hospital while getting blood cancer treat these cute little sandwitches look so good. I go through really senstive tummy issues. there are times where I can't force my tummy to eat. Then I can eat just getting my tummy to calm down and certain turns of my head to long causes gagging

With all that Butter on top of those sandwiches, how could you ever think that foil needs to be sprayed or it will stick to the sandwiches! Yes it is true poppies can show up in a drug test, however you have to have quite a bit of them for that too happen. That little bit on your sandwiches will be fine and should not pop anyone hot haha 😆 .

I made some similar to this but my recipe called for sugar and onion flakes in the butter mixture on top. They were really delicious for a game night.
