This is a perfect recipe for this time of the year! Summer. I can think of lots of variations including adding some chopped tomatoes, zucchini or cauliflower. Will definitely try this one!

We called them spring onions too Paula 🤗🤗🤗 I remember as a child in the summer my mom and grandmother keep them in a glass of water on the table along with celery 😊❤ oh the memories 🤗💕

That is so true....my mom said to treat them like a flower....the same with corn. Put it in water to get a good drink before cooking. Make sure it was picked the day you bought it. Then in the oven or grill. When cool, husk it. Yum.

I would love it if you would make the Chicken Bog recipe from your Lady and Sons Too cookbook! My MIL who was from Florence SC, used to make it for my husband when he was growing up-I remember her saying it is a low country dish. I would love to see how you make your version! Love you Paula!!

I like to make a big lasagna pan full of these. I use red, yellow and green peppers. They look so pretty. But my stuffed peppers are more traditional with hamburg, rice and tomato sauce. Definitely want to try this version with the biscuit mix!! 👍👍😘

Paula I know these are good.. But how you make your scrambled eggs I have told I don't know how many people fix them like Paula Deen... I made soup before I come to work this morning using one of those big yellow peppers.

Add a little dry mustard to your eggs...sprinkle in like you would salt. It adds amazing flavor!!!

If you're a gardener, there is a variety of tomato that is called "stuffer". It's hollow like a bell pepper. I hope to grow it next yr.

@@megdonnelly8519 green bell peppers are the youngest least ripened pepper. The stages of bell pepper are green, turns to yellow, then orange and ripened to red. As the process of ripening goes on to red, the bell peppers become sweeter.

Good morning ladies, hope all is well today, T.I. I always made stuffed peppers the old fashioned way, with a meat/rice mix and topped with tomato sauce and baked. That was a very filling dish. My mom used to make mashed potatoes with it too. Omg, we were stuffed after that meal! Can't eat like that anymore, though.

And I always thought stuffed peppers were healthy...🤣Never heard of stuffing biscuit mix in them. The foil isn't necessary but Paula sure obsesses over an idea when she gets one. She might've/should've just cut them lengthwise in the first place and baked them on their sides in a long baking dish. Eddie was thinking quiche...Ok then...Had to get in his two cents. I'm not convinced Theresa was thrilled about these.
