This is my favorite installment of Season 3. The animation is visually stunning, Mackenzie Davis’ voice acting emotionally connects and pulls you in, the music is sublime, powerful, yet not overpowering, and the story is both haunting and hopeful. Emily Dean has done a superb job with this episode. She should be proud.

Please, keep this series going forever.

Hats off to you for creating those references from home. This was definitely one of the episodes I revisit the most from this volume. That last part where she says animation is it's own medium is especially important because I see so many ppl suggesting live action adaptations for LDR and I think to myself "what could live action possible add to these already amazing stories".

Best episode of the season. Absolutely beautiful.

This is the best episode of the whole season imo. Its better than all the high budget 3DCG episodes especially in terms of lore and story.

Just a stunning piece of work. Beautiful. Animation is incredible, Mackenzie Davis' performance is brilliant, and the music is gorgeous. Really remarkable bit of storytelling for such a compact run time, and the Moebius influence is both well executed and perfectly in tune with the plot. Well done all round - this was a "sit down quietly and just let myself feel it for a while afterwards" experience.

This one is my facorite one of all 3 seasons, the sense of urgency in wich IO uses Burton to tell kevelson what it is and that it's trying to cominicate with her, when Kevelson finally understands and IO keeps saying "yes machine" makes it seem like its exited to finally comunicate with a human. That was such an emotional moment to me. Still makes me teary eyed when i think about it.

This is crazily good. I wish there was more of this. I'd watch a whole movie.

This short was by far and away my favorite and most memorable - hearing the story behind it just reinforces that. Keep doing what you're doing, Emily, you're goin' places.

Great idea and work. They put it together well. I binge watched the new series as I have with every series of Love Death Robots so far. My favourite of the new series has to be 'the cutest apocalypse you'll ever see'.

I love this episode. I loved the poetry in it. I also love this feature and the director’s commentary. I usually roll my eyes when I hear things like ‘strong female protagonist’ but in this episode it is so well done it doesn’t feel forced or pushed. It just is. Beautiful work

The mystery of the universe is infinite, the inspiration behind this storyline is out of this world. It’s a free wave traveling across the universe and was intercepted by the mind of the producer

My favorite episode

Her reference to "drawing a feeling" is really fascinating to me. This would have started production well before the Station Eleven adaptation did, or before Mackenzie Davis was involved with it. But - it completely looks and feels like a companion piece to it, right down to the ghostly, benevolent damaged astronaut figure. And the Mackenzie Davis character in it bears tattoos inspired by the Station Eleven comic author's attempt to do just that - to "draw a feeling", Miranda uses those terms precisely. The feeling in question being to "cut and run", to cut off your previous ties to move forward. It occurs to me that you could substitute this comic-book-inspired animation into Station Eleven, a comic-book-driven live action show, and have the Mackenzie Davis character draw all pretty much the same inspirations and identifications with the lead character, and it would function pretty much just as flawlessly.

Masterpiece - getting goose flesh for this Planets Voice. Watched it like 5 times allready. 11/10

I've been going through a very difficult time recently and when this season came out I expected to enjoy it but what has been done with this episode alone I cant express the feeling I got from this episode following this character as she struggles to keep living even though she knew from the beginning she was doomed just to succumb yet not give up it meant something to me I broke down at the end of this episode and I don't think ppl give it enough credit hands down best episode absolutely heartbreaking and now I see with eye serene The very pulse of the machine
