“Black wives matter. She was slightly overweight so I threw fries at her” is the funniest bar I may have ever heard I wish we had a recording of him saying it
Being able to enjoy his music doesn't mean he's immune from losing everything. He can very much lose everything. He's just so damn wealthy he can afford many more fuckups
He gets ahead by canceling himself in a way, and strangely enough, when enough time pass, all those crazy/offensive/ do not seem so problematic. Besides, i would argue that Trump was solid choice compared to this now. dontkillme
Kanye had to cancel an album cause it was "too controversial" yet Eminem became the most successful rapper of all time dropping albums full of bars just as bad if not worse
Yea, but there’s different cases. Em is a white guy who rapped during a time white rappers weren’t respected and his horror core music made him stand out as a white guy making horror music. Em would not be as popular if he made music now, bc of the content’s aren’t nothing wowing especially since back 20 years ago the idea of gay ppl being on tv was controversial. Em is white guy rebellation music. Kanye with context is a mentally ill black guy who says wild shit non in music. Plus I doubt Kanye wants an 2009-2010 hit of depression. Em is adore by white ppl while Kanye is distant from black ppl
Plus if Kanye's creative force/vision changes in the process of making the album, it won't see the light of day, that has been proven dozens of times. Kanye quite literally has a "don't care" personality and he is known to double down on controversial stuff. He wasn't scared to drop the album, his creative direction changed.
Honestly I dont see the issue with him saying any of those words. Its simply him just trying to be edgy and get a point across he isnt using them in a derogatory manner
Artists aren't meant to he realists. They're dreamers. Imagine by John Lennon had the same message of "Love Everyone" that some people criticize for being "Unrealistic Hippie Garbage"
i was toying around with the idea of making a channel focused around music and a lot of it would have involved kanye, but this really inspired me to go through with it! update: i have finished writing my first script!
@@tylerthompson487 oh god i didn't see this til just now, thanks so much bro! really got me inspired again been busy graduating and tryna find a job, but as soon as i can get a good setup and everything, i'll be sure to post!
I hope he revisits it with a similar concept and sound it would be super interesting id say it would be even more interesting now than it would have been in 2018
kanye will never be cancelled, because everyone around him and who worked with him know hes just one massive troll. He is bipolar meaning in the things he wants, at times u see him want peace, and quiet, and hates paparazzi, at times he wants to annoy and piss everyone off. He hasnt talked to nick fuentes since the incident, and it just shows Kanye at times loves to annoy people. He has no other way to show the world how impactful he is to the industry than to get into endless contreversies, and then come out on top and say the whole industry was against him and he still succeeded.
13:52 "thats like utopia" made me realize maybe all the music on Yhandi from "utopia" on travis scotts album is a wave to say that, "what you were aiming for is impossible, ye"
It's funny how you claim you don't like politics, don't take a side...but still parrot their talking points. Maybe that is what Ye has been trying to shake people out of.
@@ryanjustice8328 Restricting human rights...sounds bad until you realize he's talking about restricting the intentional deaths of unborn children by their mothers. Mothers killing their child seems like a pretty clear wrong. Alot of the things the liberals champion seem good on the face of it until you dig a little deeper. That is what Ye was pushing against.
i think it was a good idea to highlight that bernie sanders thing especially for context because he has mentioned(actually alot if asked) that economically he supports bernie but aesthetically he liked trump imagine a timeline where the sanders campaign management DIDNT reject his offer to work with them🙃 side note: he did slightly keep the mee too bar in the song Yikes where he implies if it happens to him hd will be on E news
I feel like it's weirdly coincidental that Spooky Black (now known as Corbin) had a song back in 2014 called "DJ Khaled Is My Father" and Kanye was going to release a song called "DJ Khaled's Son"
Your perspective on politics is extremely limited. You're looking at it in an extremely surface level type of way. Just because things are the norm it doesn't mean it's normal. Kanye says crazy things but his perspective on this album about humanity over labels makes perfect sense. People love to villanize the right while overlooking the atrocities done by the left. Obama, for example, holds the world record for most children killed by a Nobel Prize Winner. You're average person looks at Obama (and the left) as being harmless due to the labels/image attached to him. The Christian Bible teaches discernment over judgement. It also teaches that Christians should not have ties to worldly nations/political parties etc etc. since it teaches that the only governing body you should have alliance to is in heaven. Before Jesus died Jewish people were the "chosen people". His death on the cross made it so the labels of Jew, Gentile, Roman etc etc are pointless since we are all spiritually from Israel and have the capacity to learn from his teachings (as the chosen people). This way of thinking might seem unrealistic/utopian to YOU but it is very real for billions of people around the world. Imagine calling a certain religions perspective ridiculous and unrealistic. If it was a non Christian religion you would be Kyrie'd instantly. Donda is similar to Love Everyone in the sense that it focuses alot on unity and alliance to that which is Heavenly. It seems that the album (in classic Kanye fashion) would follow a heroes journey arch in which he would would struggle only to redeem himself by the end of the album. Kanye's way of thinking is sporadic and extremely flawed at times but this doesn't mean that everything he says is unorthodox. He seems to take things to literal extremes and let's his ego get in his way. Egotism and Mental Illness are his Achilles Heel which he needs to overcome in order to eventually become truly great.
i think the bigger thing to consider is that all politicians are just horrible ppl with very similar agendas to push and their goal is just to pander to different sides while no change is actually made while fanning the flames of a culture war which is really why we can't come together on anything and everything is some big thing. most issues stem from distracting from classism and the effects of it and a lot of politicians have a lot to hide and the biggest mistake everyone makes is thinking the politicians on their side have their hands clean.
Hey is there gonna be any ye vids after this? I would love to see a complicated rollout style vid on the hiatus that ye is currently in. Great vid as always keep this shit up 💯💯💯💯💯
@DIGITALxDWNLD btw would you ever be interested in doing a redux/retrospective on the donda rollout? Its not like you left a lot out or forgot a lot but new info has come out since then about stuff that we didn't know about or more info has come out about stuff that we knew very little about and also your style of content has kinda changed to be a bit more long form and informative so I personally would love to see like a 1,2 or 3 hour redux video on the entire rollout from July 2020 to either September or December 2021 to show the aftermath after the release but I might be the only one who wants this 😂 just a suggestion keep up the great work 💯💯💯
It's pretty easy to see how Kanye can be so incredibly beloved and hated, purely off of how striking he can be. The utter gall to post a picture of the man who killed your mother and saying "LOVE EVERYONE" is FUCKING HILARIOUS
Incorrect 12:13 she had a pre-existing condition for which the surgeon should NOT have operated or performed as many procedures as he did and he did so anyway.
These Facilities never take things into factor before diagnosis. For example I believe Ye has a substance abuse problem with alcohol. but before checking him in that would not be considered before diagnosis. So if he was sleep deprived and drinking leading to his behavior they would only take the word of people around and what he is saying at that moment. The doctor would not ask about drinking or sleep before diagnosis because they would have no reason to know or think its a factor in what the current situation is. Once you get diagnosed and placed in the facility it no longer matters what you say because they look for cooperation and behavior to let you out. Its all a pretty quick process from diagnosis to placement in facility. Afterwards they would no longer care about substances or sleep deprivation.
Sorry to say you forgot an important thing that there was a TV show on BET that had the song Brothers in it before it was actually like supposed to be released and everything. Just thought I'd mention that is that was the first time anyone heard the song or a version of the song
It's funny too, because what he means is "I don't want to outwardly speak my political opinions out of fear for backlash", because later in the video he says how modern American politics these days are "human rights issues and one party wanting to deny the rights of certain groups". He also claims that the right-wing personalities that kanye started hanging out with were manipulating him. It's a good video, but it's supposed to be informative, and implying (or flat out saying) the things that he did definitely isn't "hating politics"
@@_xgreex_Id say he described both parties with bias, and omitted a lot of different aspects that aren’t just social, like economic aspects. but I’m not saying I disagree socially, cuz I got that progressive outlook lololo 😂 (still, it’s a really simplified and narrow-scoped way 2 describe it)
That 'bar he cut' from Ye, turned out to be the 'slavery choice line' from I Thought About Killing You. The official song now has silence at that point. Interesting!
Wasn’t his ranch yet, it was a lodge in Jackson Hole, the ranch was in Cody Drake linked him in March 2018 after funnily enough playing Fortnite with Ninja, not 2017 TG16 wasn’t worked on more than 3 months after its announcement
Kanye is immune to cancelations. He's been getting himself into trouble for a decade and a half now. Last time he pushed his luck really hard but it seems like people, including myself are still anticipating his comeback. On top of that, AI covers of various song with Kanye's voice are taking over youtube and the opinions are ecstatic. Imagine Kanye releasing an album with an additional help of AI. He's always been known to push boundaries artistically, I wouldn't be surprised.
Even Kanye in 2018 just looks so innocent compared to 2024. He looks like a real person. I'm younger and didnt get into him till around that era, but I can't help but think how he would be now if he didnt choose evil...
them 2018 wyoming recording sessions . a time i thought kanye was back! before getting hit with a barrage of disappointing projects, and saving the best beats for pusha t while giving nas something that didnt fit NAS but sounded okay.
