This is probably the best timeline video of the downfall, especially it being from a fan perspective, it really shows how ye has destroyed all his opportunities
the first song I listened to on my iPod when I was 5 was Heartless. It was also the first music video I ever saw on RU-vid. That man had such a huge impact on my life and my taste. I've literally spent my entire life looking upto him and his work. His downward spiral has been extremely confusing for me. I find his actions to be abhorrent and disgusting but I still hope he finds his way but that seems impossible now. I don't see him redeeming himself ever at this point
I hate what he said but at least he didn't take actions like beating a significant other like Chris brown. If Chris brown can beat RiRi and still chart Ye can redeem himself
@Cotty Kanye is gonna come back! Canceled or not, he'll hopefully make a comeback and redeem himself. Kim Kardashian and him splitting must of really messed up his mental health.
all he did was make a few comments he didn't kill someone. Let's be real, we're treating this like a big deal but there are people who've done far worse.
Like bro they're somewhat square shaped symmetrical designs, which are literally straight lines, anyways that's a traditional Buddhist Swastika, you'd have to rotate the star of David as well to make it a nazi one, and that fucks the whole it fitting part
@@LecheRev I remember like 20 years ago, a Pokemon card came out and had a Buddhist swastika in it. Major uproar from...You guessed it. The West. Smfh I swear the Western world get dumber and dumber each passing year.
One thing that gets me is Balenciaga put that weird ass promo out right before ye got cancelled. It was like they were gonna put him on as the main figure of Balenciaga when they released that promo. If you don’t know which one I’m referring to it’s the one where the kids are surrounded by bondage paraphernalia. Ye himself said he got out his contracts with a tweet instead of a lawsuit.
There's some weird shit going on there that we are not aware of, that's for sure, I don't consider myself a conspiracy theorist but the way everything happened and the situation with Kim and Balenciaga made me question some things
Mental health is no joke. I still believe Kanye is one of the best visionaries in our era. And I pray that he finds peace and I will continue to support him.
I feel this was a long time coming with all the controversies, the mental health issues, separating himself and to be honest burning bridges with the people who really seem to care for him such as cudi and being surrounded by many yes man I feel this created the perfect eco chamber to be radicalised and brainwashed leaving the hollow husk of the kanye west we used to love that I don't that we or kanye himself can ever return to
Kanye literally said he liked Hitler on my birthday like bruh how much worse can it be, you say you like Hitler, but out of ALL 364 DAYS?? Cmon man (it’s ok tho we got Metro’s album the next day he saved it for me)
You described Kanye’s downfall better than I ever could. Honestly, I’m not surprised that he had a downfall. I’m just surprised it took so long for all of his antics to catch up with him.
@@documentthedrama8279 That's all he really said too, it's wild. Ye stole my bit: You hit 'em out the gate with Hitler, before explaining about universal love coexisting with not condoning that persons actions. Title for Ye was even gonna be LOVE EVERYBODY / HITLER. Tone deaf and careless, but to say Ye's a neo-nazi is just false. But it gets clicks, we love to hate him as a culture but most people don't even really give a shit about him once this is out of the news.
I listened to 808s and heartbreaks due to the themes of not having enough time and how you feel you don’t have enough time with your loved ones it reminded me of my grandpa. Ye the album also helped me with so much of my mental health. It’s hard seeing someone whose music helped me so much go down an inexcusable path.
Weirdly enough, this whole thing made me listen to ye's music more. I absolutely separate the art from the artist. I think he's the greatest of all time. Him and mike.
This year proved something I said back in 2020, if you want to hurt Kanye, his ego, his character, and end his career, it is by doing one thing and one thing only, to stop talking about him. I know that will almost never happen because I mean hell R Kelly still has a fanbase, but if there is a day where he does something or says anything that he knows will generate a reaction and nobody says anything on it, that will kill him more then anything. He feeds off the energy of people saying his name and wan thing him dead, and (this is hopefully not true) if he gets killed for the things he says, I think, in his mind, that’s a good case scenario because it means that there will always be discussion about him. I wouldn’t be surprised that even though on his interview he did where he said he wanted to be forgotten as a ploy not to be, this is all a game he will play until people stop talking about him
I think he’s kinda tired of being popular and looked up to. Thats prolly why he says those controversial things. So that everyone antagonizes him and won’t associate with him again. He litterally was screaming "IM FREE" after Adidas enden its contract with him.
Edit: I was like really tired and emotional when I wrote this but I think my points still hold up so The only thing Kanye had taught me in late 2022 was how absolutely awful humanity is. I genuinely used to look up to him because I saw him as a visionary artist, but to support who was possibly the worst human being in history. To say people overlook the good Hitler did is to completely ignore the millions of innocent lives he ended, not only for Jewish people but almost anyone he saw as below him. While I'm not Jewish my own family was put into concentration camps and to think that the man I looked up to could support the people who could've killed my own family brings me to tears. This isn't about free speech, this isn't about people being brainwashed, this about him acting completely ignorant and ignoring the men, women and children the Nazis killed. I will never support Kanye after this, I just can't.
I wish people had said to him what you said. The world thinks he's a literal Nazi because of unfair headlines, when he's really really just a contrarian, using christian talking points "love everyone", and never implied that he ever thought it was okay what Nazi's did. The man doesn't support Nazi-ism, and everyone wants for him to perform that outrage, and failing to do so: "Hey! This guy PRAISED Hitler!" Its like Bernie when he said matter of factly Cuba has a high rate of literacy, Headlines blew up, "you PRAISED Cuba!!! The communist Bernie loves Cuba look!" even though he said "I oppose authoritarianism anywhere." repeatedly.
this is probably the closest thing to an objective ye vid a fan could make but one context about the tremaine Uganda comment appperently from a twitch streamer called hasanabi a freind told him (im paraphrasing) ....he was pretty unhinged or was doing strange things at that timeframe...he didnt go into details
My first visit to your platform and really enjoyed the content you presented. There is a glaring blindspot that may provide insight to Ye's bad year. His perspectives on history, culture and religion (Google Pre WWII Weimar republic of Germany, degradation of black culture via controlled hip hop artists and Black Hebrews) Your analysis on these topics would enhance your amazing video. All the best in 2023!
I have never known anyone that has made Alex Jones of all people seem sane than Kanye West.A lot of things he says is either credible like people trying to institutionalize him and drug him or he just talks about his love of Hitler which as a black man saying that is just insane. Then I saw an old video of a music duo do a live a segment titled "who said it Kanye or Hitler" where they name off quotes and the audience guesses which one said it.That 13 year old video is more relevant now.
I asked Alex Klein on his live Stem Player Q/A about Yandhi and Yandhi was in the talks to drop on the stem player. So it’s confirmed that unreleased music was going to the stem player
He was kinda wrong about the WLM shit too lol. Rest of the video was fine, but the reason it was funny was because how many people disagreed with the obvious message. The joke was that people were getting outraged over something truthful; everyone matters and it's obvious.
“I did that because in fact, they do.” Kanye and his father (two black people) are at the point where they have to convince white people that they matter. Legitimately Kanye did that to just show people how the BLM organization tried to brainwash the masses and essentially pit black people and white allies against the white people that actually appreciate themselves. Anyone who has to denounce the idea that black lives or white lives or any lives matter is crazier than Kanye may seem. They’re putting life over life because of race.
white lives matter is a movement created to undermind black lives matter. white lives are not being thrown away by those in power; there's no threat or reason people need to be reminded that white lives matter. black lives ARE being treated as if they don't matter. raising awareness of how they're being mistreated, only to be responded with "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE WHITE PEOPLE?" is so fundamdntally fucked up.
bro did khaled dirty😂😂 also a black guy wearing wlm is the exact thing like a white guy wearing blm y were people so mad? also also judaismus is a religion not a race
I kinda liked Donda even though Kanye’s fan overhype everything it makes it hard to like it... But now that he went crazy with all that neo-n4zi shit, ain’t no way..
man it's just so crazy how he was on top of the world in 2021 with one of the best comebacks in music history, only for all this shit to happen less than a year later.
Good video. But you should try shortening the time in between cuts. Like 0.5-1.0 second shorter. And perhaps try speaking longer per clip so there are less cuts. But otherwise awesome video. Keep up the great work
What really surprises me is the poor reading of the subtext of for example the shirt design. Of course many people in here wouldn't care that much but if you see the whole interview and actually understand where he comes from and the things he has historically expresed you do identify the irony in that interview. Also taking phrases out of context really helps the mental decay theory. There is also an interview with a british guy where he talks about the jewish statements and surprise! It's not some antisemitism bullshit. Conservatives are "using Ye as publicity" the only thing I see everytime they give the man a mic is how he exposes them. And he has said this a bunch of times but as an artist and performer he's been on and off about this "responsibility" for his fans, the man has said he belives his fans have minds of their own and aren't stupid. Anyone that would let theirself be influenced by Ye's actions would hear the whole interviews, read the tweets or at least do a minimum effort, how would an actual Ye's fan would take hate on jewish we even he literally said "I have nothing on jewish people"? He has a problem with certain powerful people who just happen to be jewish but is denying to take back the statement cause that's exactly what's been happening to minorities for years.
trying to defend this era of his career is wack bruh. what ye said was very stupid and he still has to deal with the consequences of saying this shit to this day from sample clearance issues to losing his billionaire status. he did have a downfall in 2022, that doesn't mean he can't have a comeback. he is 100% having one hell of a comeback right now.
Ye said the thing that you are 100% not allowed to say. Anyone who disavowing him this year bc of that stupid shit is an NPC and not a real Ye fan to begin with.
