Christmas just ain't Christmas without the ones you love. New Year's just ain't New Year's without the ones you love.
You feel alone and your heart feels darker than ever. The Christmas music is unbearable and there’s an overwhelming emptiness that takes over every thought.
If you’re grieving the loss of someone important to you this Christmas season, you may resonate with this lack of holiday cheer called grief.
Let's learn together and talk about it with my dear mentor and friend Shirley Marquez, She is a pastor’s wife who has served voluntarily in ministry since 1995. She has been joyfully married to Ariel Marquez for thirty-one years and has four children-Bea, 29; Jerome, who has gone,
enjoying heaven since 2003; Ana, 16; and Andrea, 15 years of age.
She and her husband have been teaching biblical and practical topics on marriage, family, and child training. They desire to see families foster a sense of belonging, togetherness, and loving connections by creating meaningful and memorable moments of everyday life, especially at Christmas.
