Brits do tend to communicate more indirectly as a whole. It's one of the reasons I love watching LIB Japan, Sweden, Brazil, etc. There is such a difference in how people communicate culturally as well as what kinds of expectations are upheld and how much drama gets aired verses keeping some things behind closed doors or never spoken about at all.

I'm dying to know your thoughts. I'm curious how someone ends up like her. Also it is a good watch so maybe not too much trouble to react to. But that's up to you, I know you are very busy. "What's going on? Where are you? If you're in the same place then that's great, that's all you have to say." I guarantee that 90% of people will respond, "Yeah I'm in the same place. Ok goodnight." IDK I'm prolly talking out my ass, but every time I give someone an out they take it and they take it in the most flippant, unsatisfying way ever. Then there is nothing I can do because I have them the out. Now if I ask for more they'll easily turn it around on me, "What!? You said that's all I had to say! Did you lie when you said that!?" Yeah so now I don't give a single way out haha. They'll work to get out of the tension, I'm not helping them at my detriment.
