Love is Blue (Harley Benton Guitar) 

Hi Andre, I did already know this tune but didn't realise that Jeff Beck had recorded a version back in the 60s. When I heard Jeff Beck playing it I thought I'd give it a try. PS I just heard your "Euphoria" track, love it :)

Hi Cal, I hadn't heard it for years either. I went over to the local car boot sale a couple of weeks back and found "The Best of Jeff Beck" CD for 50p. It's a compilation of his stuff from the 60s when Rod Stewart was the singer with his band. This song was on the CD.

Hi Ian, I hope you're OK. I was at the local car boot sale a couple of weeks back and found a Jeff Beck CD for 50p with a lot of his early recordings from the 60s. I had no idea he had recorded this tune. When I heard it I thought I'd have a go.

Hi chaw, I picked up an old Jeff Beck CD about three weeks ago and this song was on it. I loved the tune so I thought I'd have a go at it. I've got some very exciting news (for me anyway) I just made a down payment on a proper Gibson guitar. I'll actually get it during the second week in October. It's called a Les Paul studio 70s tribute. It has vintage voiced mini humbuckers. I saw the guitar online and fell in love with it. I'm going to have to make sure that strange gentleman takes care of it if I let him play :)

Hi chaw, if you'd like to see here's a link to the actual guitar I'm going to have. I saw this post and fell in love with that guitar. It came up for sale on Ebay a few days after this was posted. I don't get my pension money until until next month and I was going to wait until the money was in the bank before I decided which one to get but this guitar would have been sold long before then so I asked the seller if I could pay a little in advance for him to hold it for me until October. I love the sound of the mini humbuckers really focused and articulate if that makes sense. The output of the pickups is a little lower than a regular Les Paul and I think that would suit the way I play. This particular version of the Gibson Les Paul was only made for one year in 2012 so you hardly ever see them come up for sale.
