Right! Feelings is the bonding of flesh. The body was made to be monogamous. That is why those who had different partners can still feel them even though they are not in a relationship anymore, they created soul-tie with the body and mind.

That’s why the Bible says lean not to your own understanding but every word that proceed out of the mouth of God, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will guide your path.

Or at the very least, have the romance novel/film industry change so that it focuses more on love as a choice instead of a mere feeling, especially in the context of enduring love as opposed to the cliched “falling in love.” There are too many romance stories that focus on the start of love with marriage as the final destination. I want to see more romance plots with marriage as the beginning instead of this idealized final destination/goal.

??? Love is the greatest power in the universe. Love is always an emotion. We are never dead emotionally. We are not robots. Love is our nature. We love because its our nature to love, and to operate in the delight of love. Otherwise we are speaking purely of cold ethics and there is far too much of that today in this materialistic society of ours.

It is a human emotion that essentially is a chemical reaction in the brain, and this is evidenced by the fact that we often have deep feelings for people who are not the "best" for us and who have hurt us before. Go ahead, try to love someone you don't or NOT love someone you do? Has anyone ever hurt you emotionally and/or physically? Do you still love them? Tell me, do you have children? Is there anything they could ever do that would cause you to NOT love them? Are there things that you really like that others don't or even find a bit strange? Like maybe you like mustard on your ice cream or something, what if you REALLY LOVED mustard on ice cream...now, would you stop really loving it just because others thought it was weird? Is there a way you could just "shut off" your love of it? Nope, you love it because it tastes good to you. It stimulates your senses, It causes chemical reactions in your body and brain that are pleasurable to you...and guess what? THAT IS LOVE! Because love is not a 'thing' that you can put your finger on and it is different for EVERYONE. It is subjective, it is relative...like "What is beauty? or art? or comedy?" And NO ONE can tell US what that "is" because it's not up to YOU to tell ME what love is to ME...and if you don't get that, go away until you do. Oh...and 1 more tidbit...learn to love yourself FIRST before you attempt to love anyone else, because if you can't learn to love yourself, how can you truly love anyone else?

The apostle Paul said the kingdom of God doesn't come in words only, but in demonstration of the power of His words. Dr Munroe did vindicate that quote of the bible. Your are right, the same applies for me. If there aren't any feelings involved you are free to love any women equally but we all know this is not the case. It is all about that connection,frequency,good vibe and with all of these and character and mutual hobbies you can get through all trials and misunderstanding. My opinion is that you cannot love or choose love if you are not attracted by that person at first time. You must love with your heart too not only with your rational brain.

This definition of love isn’t meant to negate the need for mutual attraction in a relationship. Physical attraction is important and you should seek out romantic partners whom you’re attracted to. However, the feeling of attraction, though important, should not be the driving force in a healthy, Christ-centered relationship. It is unwise to build a relationship primarily on this. God’s Love, that pure, unconditional love it what will last.

I think, feelings comes when u've chosen the person to direct them to, they don't just happen. Thats why we can love and unlove(hate) someone because it is a decison.

It’s definitely a choice to love, love is God n God is love. God isn’t a feeling, he’s a God of order and love is a law. But we gave free will to not love based upon what we “feel”.
