I am simply speechless, perfect, if the interpreter herself was moved, imagine us? I am thrilled to the extreme, I saw the very Stacy in this interpretation. Standing applause straight from Brazil...👏👏👏👏👏👏💖💖💖💖💖🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I luv this song of 1981 sung by Stacy Lattisaw! From Rio de Janeiro Brazil (suburbs of this burning sun city; wow how this city is hot n without wind!!!!). ...AMOR NUMA RUA DE MÃO DUPLA...(The title of this song in portuguese)
Tbm estou impressionado amigo, vi a própria Stacy nesta bela canção, que pra mim foi uma das mais belas canções românticas da década de 80, dancei muito coladinho na época dos bailes. Saudade de destroçar o coração...😔💖
Just majestic!!! This song sang by you is, in my opinion, superior to the one sung by the original artist. I’m speechless and starstruck at the same time by you. Best regards from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 👍.
As I'm writing this I'm listening to you Sing this tune from the 80's , what a remarkable voice you have and thanks you took me down memory lane ... This was one of my favs in high school ....God have each a talent and so you have decided to share this with all who to your page ....God bless and You Go girlfriend ...💯💯💯🥰🥰🥰🥰✌️✌️✌️
That's where you are wrong, because when I saw your comment, I said to my self, how could that be if I heard it back in 1968. I was in a party in Brooklyn, and dancing with my girl to this song, getting into the inspiration. The original was recorded in 1968, and sung by Lezli Valentine. Than in 1981 was sung by Stacy. I saw the video of her singing it on soul train which also got me confused, because Soul Train didn't come out on the air until Oct. 2 1971, because I thought that Stacy was the original artist. Than when I looked it up I saw that she recorded it in 1981. That's why it sounded different to me, but it didn't matter because Stacy did a real good job of singing it, and so did this girl Jesselinna Hemphill. It don't matter because it brought back fond memories to you, and also to me which is what really matters. Just thought I let you know this. Have a good one.
like #115 you sound just like Stacy Lattisaw . This bring back memory when the last 15 minute they play slow drag in the clubs.. you grab the girl you was eyeing all night long as you take her hand and lead her to the dance floor. both body become as 1. i know many of my friends got married from song last this and those last 15 minute before 2am.. 1:32 Alba but I love youuuuuuuuu...
Jesse, God bless you, and your voice. You sung it exactly like Stacy, or maybe a little better, because of the things you added to the song, plus you are very beautiful, and so is Stacy. You should go, and participate in American Idol, I'm pretty sure that you'll win.
This song is not about vocal range but timbre (voice color). And she has it congenitally. It's just PERFECT for these 60s/70s ballads! Eventhough the vibrato could be a littlemore solid. Should be easy to gain for her if she teached herself. And if she did, it's like she stepped right out of a time machine with her voice. I hope she's doesn't loose her main potential out of sight by singing new RnB style. Her treasure will always be having this unique authentic naturel oldschool voice which can't be teached if you don't have it.
Hey I am a lover of this song n I am pretty frantic when ppl try to cover out of their vocal range ....(but) I must say I was really impressed wit ur cover good job n thanks I liked it...
