Proud to say I was there! Aged 19. Travelled from north Wales with a bunch of mates and loved every minute 🙌

Was one of my most memorable clubbing experiences and it was free! Will never forget it. Proper dance music.

A day never to forget! Travelled from Cardiff with friends, was blown away by the seas of people clogging the streets, shops boarded up, feeling like we were part of some massive living being. Met more friends from home somehow, danced like a thing possessed, had a spiritual awakening following the Cream float. Afterwards we walked through the streets with our new found friends; the party was still going, people had sound systems hanging out of windows. Found an amazing house party, that blew any other I'd been to before, completely out of the water. Ah, to do it all again...

1 million turned up and danced a 4 mile radius of Roundhay Park The official figure was 400,000 for Rounday parks capacity - but a 2 mile surround of the park was rockin' Biblical. Police, fire and ambulance staff were dancing in the streets -shopkeepers and staff were out busting moves. House doors and cars blasting out radio 1 One of the biggest raves the world has ever seen. UNBELEIVABLE. The look on peoples faces was priceless. So many people. It was impossibly huge

Quarter of a million people, me and my pals included that day. People as far as you could see, raving! Raving-amazing…no other words it was out of this world!!!

One of the best things I have ever been too......music was thee best and the crowd of people ranged from young and old...single to families....radio 1 djs pumping out the very best dance music and all the super club floats such as cream and slinky to name a few......I was deffo born in the right era....wish events and clubbing was back to these days.....Thanks to leeds and everything that was that day.....;0)

If a DJ was to focus on rekindling the late 90's and early 2000's trance, would anybody consider attending? Would love to try and pull off an event that can recreate this epic era of trance!

I remember I had no clue what the Love Parade was. Drove some friends not expecting much. What a shock! Ended up at Fergissential down the road in town that night. Of what I remember anyway!

Was a wicked day!! And night!! And morning!!! Drove all the way to Leeds from a little village called Milford in Surrey by myself. Parked the car up near a petrol station very early and also so I could find the the car after. Didn't realise I had parked so close to the main event!! Proceeded to do what you did in those days and waited for the party to start. Was there the whole time until the end. While stumbling back to find the car three ladies hooked on to my arms and asked if I could give them a lift into the town to carry on partying. Well as you can imagine the state I would of been in at this stage. So as you did, I obliged. Ended up in town, all of us went to a club that was circular inside with balconies round the outside. Have no idea where this was!! After leaving there we found out where the after party was and headed on over there. Three lovely ladies escorting me we got to the main event, the queue was massive as you can imagine. All four of us decided to try it on an walked straight to the front of the queue and spoke to the doorman to let us in. opened up the rope gate and let us straight in no questions asked! Spent the rest of the night there until everyone else was leaving. The three ladies had partied all night and also kept a lookout for me as by this time I was knackered. The Three ladies had all come down from either Carlisle or somewhere like that and the train stations where all closed and it was getting pretty cold and getting light. We all piled back into my car and ended up chatting all morning until the train station opened. The three ladies said their goodbyes and headed off. I then Headed off and drove all the way back home with out any sleep. Got home and crashed for a few days. Happy times

Oh my God 15 years ago, this event was amazing never been to anything as big since. No one fighting everyone just having the best day ever. There should be a Roundhay reunion ha ha ha

I remember the sun just setting, a red sky, dancing off my tits near some trees and it just starting to rain. Watching every person in there loving life, then sandstorm came on by darude. The place went nuts. What a memory

i was there, judge jules and angelic. what a party!!!!!!!! leeds council shit themselves and banned it after only one event even though it all went smoothly, we drove strait there, got strait into leeds, drove back to doncaster for more beer, swapped cars and then drove straight back to leeds till around 2am and hit hardly any traffic! there will never be another

I was there. Guys selling whistles selling drugs. Top buzz! Young kids running for dealers, give them a tenner and they’d return with the pills. We travelled from Scotland. Best day of our lives. Was there with my bestie Gaz and his partner Ginger. The floats were amazing I had eye contact with a DANCER who loved to dance.

Flew from N.IRELAND to go that got there at 4.30 and it was over at 9.00pm I thought it was on all night but anyways it was still a blinded that I won't ever forget!

what a day out, shame it ended about 11pm, we were still buzzing til 11pm the next night lol so many memories from this event, getting lost, losing the car, not being able to text anyone (communications jam) and dodging the old bill on the way home while keeping the car windows open to let the smell of skunk weed out =) was a lovely day out, good weather, amazing people, banging tunes and the best vibe ever!

I was sitting in my apartment in Mallorca listening online and when Jules started off playing my Remix of The Love Parade my head nearly popped off !! I was jumping around the room screaming hahaha what I wouldn’t have given to be there at the time, but I was resident for BCM in Magaluf at the time and they wouldn’t let me fly back for it lol !! Amazing memories.....

A good day after it all stopped we went to the gallery i think Rob t and Trevor Rockcliffe were on dont no how we got back to Lincoln very messy in deed fair play to jo for driving because my mince pies were all over the world, top times wouldn't change it for nothing.

amazing day, dancing and meeting random people that acted like your friend of years. was funny watching people buying trollies full of booze and taking the trolley with them to save carrying it! went to Newcastle the following year even when it got cancelled and had a great day on the town moor at a hastily arranged event but wasn't in the same league as this

Yes it was mad, although my ex ruined it for me as she wouldn't stop throwing up, so i spent most of my time sitting outside the porta toilets, waiting for her to stop heaving, so i missed the judge jules set (unfortunately) but whilst waiting for her i got off with all the hot chicks that walked past me, he, he, he.
