You're right, you can see Keith with a blonde strat in the famous rehearsal of Carol with Chuck Berry in the movie Hail, Hail, R'n'r. But that's all. Enrico Simone I just noticed the weight gain recently too. Could be his body is slowing down. When the Stones tour their so pampered, off the tour too. He's in his seventies now. Might be indulging a little more. I do hope he would take care of his fitness and hands. I'm sure for insurance reasons he's looked after.

Reality check on your silly comments - Keith is in his 70s and he's not THAT overweight. What's wrong with minimalism in a song? The song sounds good even with few chords. Keith is probably in better health now then he's been in decades.

I think Keith said he mostly raids his daughter's clothes closet. All his daighters are gorgeous. Whatever, he just wears what his whims declare. He is his own man. We should all be that free.

He's been the go to guy for 30 years. GE Smith is another great musician that plays or is musical director at a lot of big shows. They are both incredibly talented and reliable, but so are a lot of other superb guys who could use the cash and the promotion. I'm sure Mr. Cray can tour or record in the studio for very good money based on his fame, and the same for Mr. Smith. Why not give someone else with that level of skills who has earned it a shot. That's all I am saying. I know a large number of musicians who are struggling on average money and have been at it longer than Mr. Cray, and are as good or better. Check out the movie sidemen, and you'll see that even Hubert Sumlin struggled until Keith and Eric helped out. They also guested on Jimmy Rogers album in 94 a year before he died. He could've used the promotion and the cash many years earlier.
