@@MarshuTheBurninatorI agree, especially when you pointed out how people refer to something as early 2000’s and it’s far from it - it’s kinda like how teens call something released in like 2005 “Y2K”. Folks nowadays reduce things to surface-level aesthetics without really understand what makes them special. And this video is actually from 2003 so it definitely fits the “early 2000s” bill!

I don't think they even CHECK when things were released anymore, anything that has rainbows and looks cute is "2000s" and "scenecore" and I'm pretty sure even scene itself wasn't as trendy in the early 2000s, but I wouldn't know because I was never a part of that community when I was younger and/or now
I literally forgot this existed despite being obsessed with that song for a while. I remember first discovering it when someone was blasting it on a roblox game I used to play and during this entire time, I thought this was an anime opening from an anime that was lost media And rediscovering it years later made me realize it was just a song from beat mania💀
@@syalis139 the game specifically is called catalogue heaven since at the time, people went there to repeatedly play raining tacos with the golden boombox gear,but someone else got sick of that song being played on one of the servers and played this one. That’s really how I discovered 2 of these songs from that game in the first place
The game specifically was catalogue heaven and all the way back in like 2015, people kept repeatedly playing raining tacos with the golden boombox gear thing on a bunch of servers within the game because of how viral this song was at the time. And eventually, some other user was able to play love shine on one other server with no users around repeatedly playing raining tacos. And to this day, I’m still happy I found out about the song this way

both cute and hilarious. Awesome. I always loved this song. This is the song that got me into J-pop to begin with. I listened to it over 600 times during the first couple of days. Riyu Kosaka is the first J-pop artist I listened to, so its natural for her to be my favorite. ^-^.

Omg I remember watching this video when I was 9 years old, 13 years later I just discovered that this song comes from a game called iidx that I barely started to play. It's amazing to think that this old game was so hard even back then when this song came out.

Those Y2K songs were came for like a nostalgic anime vibes came over in the early year 2000s of all time. Man when I was young and liked all of those Y2K references and anime pink themed of all time, it would be great for me when I missed the good old days.
