A lot has been said about the ambiguity in this lyric and about it not being truly Biblical. I get that. Unfortunately in all the attention it has received, folks seem to have failed to note that the bassline seems to have been written and conceived by God himself, and played by one in very close communion with Him. @@shanequajohnson8409 you do know that gospel music originated in the blues... I believe music should honor God ,however, I believe that a beat is a beat...it's the lyrics that make it good or bad. It's ludicrous tofor someone to say you dislike something because it has a pop vibe to it, when in reality most of gospel was inspired by secular music. You do know that gospel is not it's own genre it a melting pop genre with say that mean it a mixture of genres so there nothing wrong with pop gospel also no problem with traditional but in gods word its said bring the word to all men meaning be diverse for god dont only be traditional it's not appealing to people outside the church we have to be appealing to folk
