Some people never receive enough love and other people always seem to have problems accepting the love they already have. Loving yourself is the only way that you can be of service to others in your personal relationships. Love softens you, heals you and helps you become more lovable. The truth is, if you are unable to accept love from yourself and from others, then it's unlikely that you will be able to give love to anyone else. Forgiving yourself for all of the things that you've ever done wrong or messed up can do wonders in helping you to love yourself more. Treating yourself with love won't make it easy to hurt someone else because of how much love you have for yourself. It won't allow for infidelity or lying because if your self-love is at a high level, then everything about who you are as a human being should be beautiful. However, there still may be something present that's preventing you from feeling whole and complete- overall happiness.
