Great reaction ! This was my fav Lovebites song until "Soldier Stands Solitarily" came along. To me, "Dystopia Symphony" is a seamless and very innovative blend of prog/neoclassical metal/speed-power metal/and a bit of thrash thrown in. This track exemplifies the compositional & arrangement prowess of Miyako. She composed this song as a tribute to Beethoven when the maestro was coming to terms with his hearing loss. In this track, you can clearly hear the Beethoven motifs from the 3rd movement of "Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-Sharp Minor, Op. 27, No. 2" (aka "Moonlight Sonata") and "Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor, Op. 13" (aka "Sonata Pathétique"). Unfortunately, there's no MV or LIVE version of this song yet (not that I know of), which is also the reason why it doesn't get reacted to enough. I hope they'll play this LIVE in at least one of their impending World Tour 2024 shows.

I wondered when you were going to get to this one their best Miyako Video Audio They have a fan made video of this song also that shows the band through various stages. This song will amaze you.

When I listen to Lovebites I always get the impression that they strive to avoid being put in a box, or a genre. They enjoy switching it up and doing everything from hard rock to thrash and speed. And everything in between. It makes them interesting and not as easy to grow tired of. In this song you really hear Miyako's classical influences too. I hope to one day see this song in a live version.
