This is one of their absolute best songs, and shows how good they are no matter what style of music they play. Asami's vocals in this one are out of this world.
LOVEBITES - Edge Of The World lyrics: Why do we learn to hate, deceive and lie, hurt each other? Why does it never end? The sorrow keeps on repeating Wailing, come downpours of the rain Will it end? No one ever knows Wondering, what only time can tell What is at the end of life? Why do we only see our own desires? Greed is endless Why is there authority when there is no justice in their rulings Struggling like feeble, helpless fools Will it end? No one ever knows Wandering, not knowing where to go Carrying the breath of life Standing at… The Edge of the World As long as you're still alive, remember - don't fear standing up, don't ever give it up Until the day you meet your end, it's not over - let your soul shine inside of your heart As long as you're still alive, remember - keep your dignity, stay true to who you are Until the day you meet your end, it's not over - let your heart love and always be loved How you live will always live on As your way of life, forever How you live will always live on As your way of life, forever How you live will always live on As your way of life, forever ----- lyrics: asami music: Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
All of those "E" songs are fantastic! Empty Daydream is another song that showcases Asami's vocal abilities more than others. Just like with this performance they include a piano intro from Miyako in the live performance of Empty Daydream that isn't in the studio version.
"I've picked two very good tracks today" - loving the understatement! I love the gradual build-up in the song. It's hard to pinpoint one moment when it stops being a ballad - the perfect song to get people listening to metal without noticing.

The “E” songs are treated with reverence by the Wolfpack. If, like me, they were amongst the very first tracks I heard by them, then you are literally in at the deep end. They’re the best there is. Nobody close.
Definitely react to the other two E songs. 'Epilogue' would be my choice next. But it doesn't really matter. Every second person will have a different favorite. You'll get to them both either way. How could you not.
i second the motion on heavy metal's suggestion for 'empty daydream' for the next 'e' song. yet another side of lovebites you have not seen yet. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lXh_uMM94jU.html
I have to assume that the backing track with piano is Miyako. If so, it's completely amazing how everything is in such sync...amazing. The entire band, each and every one, is amazingly talented. It seems many Japanese female metal bands get mentioned in the others videos. For me personally, I've listened to most of the other female metal bands. Mot are quite talented, but I think Love bites are the best and it isn't even that close.
I am so done with these jerks plagiarizing my words, I was the one who began with the mention of the "E" songs of Lovebites, I am going to keep track of all the plagiarized comments
