Ive always been a fan of Heavy Metall, Rock and Rythm and Blues. My first was Love Sculpture and Deep purple, got to Jethro Tull, Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, Kiss and Iron Maiden. And thats just the beginning. Over the years there has been alot of good bands and ive heard most of them. Ive just Discovered Lovebites after a short run in with BabyMetal. And i must say, OMG, is this realy possible. The speed, the energy and the harmony, i just cant get enough of it. For me its like Dragonforce and Iron Maiden had a mixer and made this beautiful but powerfull sound. To all the members of Lovebites i say "Thank you For the music", for giving it to us all. I do hope you come to Norway in the future, and ill be there to watch your show. Raise some Hell, and keep the party going.🤩
Agree - they take the best of all the legendary bands and combine it into their own music to create an epic sound. (they also add some Slayer-like thrash to their songs as well).
I can only agree with you. i went to my first rock concert at the age of 8. taken there by my brother. it was Deep Purple. since then i learned to love rock and started to listen Pink Floyd, Genesis ( with peter gabriel ), Supertramp, ... and little by little i came to metal ... Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Tristania, ... Symphony X, Nightwish, Dream Theater, ... and in 2019 I accidentaly discovered Lovebites. The song was Shadowmaker. what a gift of god i received. I now have all their albums. and saw them 2 times live. they make me so happy each time i listen to them.
I just saw LOVEBITES live in Los Angeles last night. Best show I've seen in YEARS. Everyone was on FIRE and I even got a little misty-eyed during the show because they were just SO DAMNED GOOD! I took my two 20-something kids with me (they love metal and we've gone as a family to shows like Symphony-X, BABYMETAL, Dethklok, etc.), and even though they hadn't ever really listened to LOVEBITES beforehand, even my kids were crying a little from the joy of seeing and hearing such a fantastically good band. The entire band seemed so happy and excited to be playing for us and the crowd was INTO it. Singing along, chanting with Asami, thunderous applause and cheering for the solos ... all with love and respect for the band and each other. Some seriously amazing memories were made last night and my kids STILL can't stop talking about the show. Please, please, PLEASE come back to the Los Angeles area as soon as you can. Your recordings are phenomenal, but it's your live show that is truly mind-blowing.
Why do we learn to hate, deceive and lie, hurt each other? Why does it never end? The sorrow keeps on repeating Wailing, come downpours of the rain Will it end? No one ever knows Wondering, what only time can tell What is at the end of life? Why do we only see our own desires? Greed is endless Why is there authority when there is no justice in their rulings Struggling like feeble, helpless fools Will it end? No one ever knows Wandering, not knowing where to go Carrying the breath of life Standing at The Edge of the World As long as you're still alive, remember Don't fear standing up, don't ever give it up Until the day you meet your end, it's not over Let your soul shine inside of your heart As long as you're still alive, remember Keep your dignity, stay true to who you are Until the day you meet your end, it's not over Let your heart love and always be loved How you live will always live on As your way of life, forever
Hopefully Lovebites will also make new ballad songs in the future. Even if only one or two song on they next album. Edge of the world and Epilogue are examples of two ballad songs that are most liked by wolfpacks.
@@rainerzufall42 Yes! This song keeps growing and changing, so many interesting chord progressions. Only a handful of bands have ever done amazing songs like this.
Actually, I've hoped for keyboard, when I drove to Belgium! But the setlist of the day before in London indicated, that there will be none (in that small venue). It also indicated, they'd play "My Orion" instead of "Soldier Stands Solitarily". "My Orion" is not bad, but how happy I was, that I was wrong...
how come a band can play so various genre with flawlessly and perfectly? they can play ballad, blues, prog, power, in other songs they play speed, thrash, neo classical, heavy metal, etc, it is a simply genius !!!
Man every once in while I will see a video about a member of this band…and I decide I’m going to check them out. That was so good that guitar solo brought a tear to my eye.
@@TheCyberMantis Absolutely ! As for "Edge of the World", I'm torn between the 2020 FOAK LIVE version and this one. Asami is really sublime in this latest version
Glad you enjoyed it!, but I respectfully disagree. To my ears, their "Five of a Kind" concert, had BY FAR, the best live recording/audio mixing of all their concert releases to this day. Even the crowd audio chants were recorded during the heavier transition breakdown which adds the extra layer of awesome. The subtlety of Midori's and Miyoko's guitar playing was better captured, such as their pinch harmonic squeals. Even the backing track with Miyako's piano also was blended in better and can be much easier heard; such as the ending riff where she harmonizes with it. Their 2020 performance was just as "on point" as this recording, however I think Asami's voice has more clarity/punch in mix (due to the better audio capturing) I can certainly agree "Presentation wise", their new concert aesthetic is improved with fog, better stage design, and more balanced lighting. Their new outfits are killer as well. Just my throwing 2 cents for the very little its worth because I personally think their live audio engineering has been inferior starting with their "Heavy Metal Never Dies" concert release. Still will be buying this on Blu Ray; Terrific band!
LOVEBITES Beautiful Goddess 🤘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🤘, Thank You for Your Hard Work ❤️ Loved,Respected,Supported, ✌️, Stay Safe and Stay Metal Cheers from U S #LOVEBITES

Lovebites is a bucket list band to see live. I am glad that Glen from progpower got them this year. I cannot wait for Fridays to see you them in Atlanta.
I love the fact that they kept those feedback-whistles at the beginning of the song in the recording. Otherwise you could hardly tell this is live. Other than that, the audio and video is flawless as usual with Lovebites, as is the performance of all the musicians involved. Miyako-san and Midori-san are so perfectly in sync it sometimes sounds like one guitar. So are Haruna-san and Fami-san. And I know this is not just post-production, because I saw them perform in Lindau this June and witnessed with my own eyes and ears how precise they play on stage. I also love how they live up to their own lyrics: "Success does not come with a few empty tries"... Imagine the insane amount of practise that must have gone and continue to go into this level of playing!
The lead guitar from both Miyako and Mindori were very sweet while the sound of this live is very good. Every member did their best so the live came out very great. Cheers from Thailand.
This is what I was hoping for in the USA concerts.....Harunas full drum kit, Miakos piano, light show, sound stage, Classic LOVEBITES........but I'll be stuck in a Dallas bar
Well, don't be too disappointed - I saw them in a small club in Germany this June. The stage was tiny, with no room for a piano, either, but the girls still absolutely rocked it and everybody was having a blast! You guys have fun! 🤟
True enough. I was at this show and had a great time. And yet, it IS a bit sad that this wonderful band still seems to have such a small fanbase outside of Japan that they can't play big, epic shows like this one abroad. That's why we, their fans, should try as best we can to help them get more recognition in our countries. Just recently I wrote an e-mail to the staff of German Metal Hammer magazine, alerting them to the release of the new EP and BlueRay - for whatever that's worth. Perhaps they will write about them in one of their next editions. Wolfpack, time to rise to the occasion!
Perfection! Everything is perfect. Amazing performance. The camera work, the lighting, the stage, the audio, the band, everything is perfect. My Blu-ray and new EP is on it's way to me! 🥰 🤘🏼🐺🤘🏼

@@Zoggest I guess you haven't heard any of the songs on their new EP, nor any of their older thrash metal songs then. Try Break the Wall, Thunder Vengeance, and The Hammer of Wrath for Slayer/Metallica like thrash metal. No power metal band sounds like Lovebites.
I have so loved this song since I first heard it many moons ago, but the lighting and sound production on this video is outstanding, love they left the feedback squeal in right at the start of the vocals, lots of love to lovebites and everybody who supports them from Wanganui New Zealand
