One of Asami's best vocal performances. Two other great songs related because they start with the letter E are named Empty Daydream and Epilogue. I still get goosebumps watching these live videos. Another two masterpieces are named Frozen Serenade and Swan Song with Chopin's piano intro by Miyako. LOVEBITES does not have a bad song. They are my favorite metal band. Peace and LOVEBITES!!! 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺

Surprised you never heard this masterpiece song. This really showcases Asami's vocals. I watched the entire concert online when it premiered. Excellent concert and excellent audio mix as well. The 3 stars are cut out of cymbals and are for decoration. The Lovebites EP II is very good, ironically for me the 3 songs that are audio tracks only I like better than the 2 songs with music videos. My favorite song on EP is Where's Identity. I can see it replacing the song M.D.O. in concert.
This track is an epic masterpiece and it's melodic storytelling at its finest. Miyako composed & arranged about 50% of Lovebites' current catalogue of approximately 60 songs. Mao is a musical collaborator of the band who wrote quite a few of the other 50%, and the rest of the ladies (including previous bassist Miho) wrote the rest. Haruna's star "cymbals" are just for decorative purposes. On stage, she spins them from time-to-time and she also sells them as merch in her online store.

LOVEBITES has an ill-wisher who has been trying to slander the band on YT for a long time. He uses a large number of fake accounts and is well known to many LOVEBITES fans.
This song is another masterpiece by amazing Lovebites; it builds up so nicely with an uplifting and powerful message and also it showcases Asami’s vocals.
Mao, the songwriter of this song, is also known as the "sixth member of Lovebites" because he has written many of their songs. He used to be the keyboardist of the power metal (+prog) band called "Lightbringer". I recommend the song "Hyperion". Although that band is on hiatus indefinitely, the lead vocal Fuki has formed a power metal band called "Unlucky Morpheus". I recommend "Le Cirque de Sept Couleurs".
Mao is their usual collaborator he has written or co-written over 40% of their songs with Miyako having written about 50%. Mao is prolific and has written songs for many Japanese bands/artists (the 2 bands that I can think of offhand are Lonesome_Blue and East of Eden). Mao was the keyboardist for the power metal band Lightbringer (which also featured the singer Fuki who is now the vocalist of Unlucky Morpheus and various side projects including Doll$Boxx). Mao (as the author) wrote the music for 8 songs (13%-14%) out of the 60 original songs LOVEBITES. As a composer, Mao has also collaborated with FUKI COMMUNE, GRANRODEO (duet), KAMPAI BAND, as well as various multimedia projects & anime.

My personal view of these 'credits' ... while 💯 grateful for Mao's contributions, I am inclined to think his name is included anytime he contributes to a song and arrangement, unlike the members who are not usually listed by name, but as "LOVEBITES". This may give a disproportionate view of Mao's contribution. He is not an 'official member' so must be included by name as stating "LOVEBITES" would not include him. As is written elsewhere, M&M write their own solos, collaborate on 'twin-solos' and Haruna drumming is Haruna's drumming. These are not clearly credited except the general "LOVEBITES" (now including Fami). I think this view is affirmed by the CD booklet credits have always had "LOVEBITES" all capital letters, while the individual members are always all lower-case, no capitalization of their names. Mao is always capitalized. This consistency is on purpose to signify their unity, but to not ignore Mao's significant contributions. I also consider their unsurpassed arrangements of the songs, always credited to "LOVEBITES", with addition of "Miyako" or "Mao" depending on "composer" but always inclusive of the "5 Elements". I will even add that, as all songs continue to be performed in their original arrangements, crediting Miho as a member contributing to what they continue to play is appropriate, especially since she was the only member who wrote both lyrics and music, until Asami began to 'step up' for 'Glory, Glory To The World' EP compositions, (ironically?) bringing the thrash into Mao's works. Another interesting note, no lyrics from Miyako or Mao, only music, with one exception, "LOVEBITES" (including Miyako) as lyric credit for "Holy War" with Mao as composer and "Mao & LOVEBITES" for arrangement, though as a keyboardist, the contributions from M&M for the way the guitars are arranged (hype-tremolo-picked, palm-muted arpeggiated-chords) must come from M&M, not Mao. I know about the songs of LOVEBITES, in writing music for which Mao helped (as a co-author). 😊In the comment I specified only the number of songs (8 songs), the music for which Mao composed alone, as the author. According to my calculations, LOVEBITES recorded (on EPs, LPs, Single, Compilation Аlbum) 60 original songs (this number includes 'Winds of Transylvania' and 'Nameless Warrior') + 1 original musical composition ('The Awakening'). I did not include in this number: covers of songs by other bands, piano covers of classical music pieces that Miyako performs at concerts (Live Albums), as well as Intro and Outro ( 'Clockwork Immortality', 'The Everlasting', 'Ride For Vengeance', 'The Five Coffins', etc. in Live Albums). I respect Mao as a composer and as a musician. But in fairness, I can say that Mao mainly acted only as an assistant to Miho and Midori in composing music. I mean those songs where Miho and Midori are listed as co-authors with Mao. Miho and Midori came up with the main musical themes, chords, etc. for their songs, as a rule, themselves. Then Mao joined the process. Miho also said in an interview that some songs were composed during the tours of LOVEBITES, including in Europe. That is, literally, the songs were composed in hotels. Mao didn't go on tours with LOVEBITES. 🤔 This doesn't diminish Mao's merits at all! His help is valuable as an author, co-author, arranger, programmer. But in many songs where Mao is listed as a co-author of the music, the main contribution to the creation of the music for the songs still belongs to the ladies from LOVEBITES. Moreover, Miho, Haruna, Midori, Miyako, Fami (as musicians) often add some elements to the parts of their instruments (in demo versions of songs) or change the parts (bass, drums, guitars, etc.). Lovebites songs are just like the Universe - they are ENERGY VIBRATING at different MELODY HARMONICS of FREQUENCIES. All material objects like planets, stars, galaxies, black holes, interstellar dusts, etc...are formed by the attention intention of a CONSCIOUSNESS using SACRED GEOMETRY and HARMONICS OF FREQUENCY. I suspect that THE SOURCE/CREATOR/GREAT MIND/GOD or whatever you want to call it, is not only a MATHEMATICIAN (Geometry) but a MUSICIAN (Harmonics) as well....
Why don't you listen "Im" (small letters) or band's from 80's. Forget about LOVEBITES your listeners do not like to listen to them. Listen Malmsteen instead.
