like I've said before. They have created their own genre. "Class Metal". The thing is, they are the only ones in that genre. It's not just the music and their image, but everything about them, on and off the stage. In everything they do, they are pure class.

Yep, another song of theirs that I just love!! We all have our own reasons why certain bands resonate for us, but for me Lovebites just does everything right in the right amounts! From the stage outfits and interaction to the note choices, melody/harmony lines, rhythm and time signature changes, and the vocal lines and lyrics, it's all very well thought out, intentional, and beautifully executed!! I just love it!!!

As fits a song with that title, this just has so much swagger it's crazy. This is one of those songs where you can see they know how good they are. No arrogance, just confidence.

Thanks for this one. It's one of the few songs where Asami actually plays the piano. Actually all members can play keys. Midori Started at 2, Miyako at 3, Fami plays piano and guitar on her Graduation Album, Haruna asked her parents for a keyboard when she was 13 to help her write songs. All these young ladies have Music deep in their Souls. And it Shows! 🤘🏻🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🤘🏻

This is one of my fav Lovebites songs, it's got that crazy catchy main riff which is really infectious. From one of my favs to, literally, my current fav Lovebites track - "Soldier Stands Solitarily" (or SSS). YAY!!!! Finally!! I have been trying to get behind Lovebites because I love Band Maid and have recognized from the jump Lovebites is a great band technically but I was not getting the song connections. But I LOVE this song it grabs me like a BM tune . The poster below who mentioned resonance with music or bands, there is no right or wrong one likes what one likes, it hits you in your music "feels" or it doesn't. I'm very sure now Lovebites is going to grow on me so much talent. Thanks to reactor and posters for the song suggestions this will be another deep rabbit hole.

For "Soldier Stands Solitarily", you should fasten your seat belt! The closer of the Judgement Day album may be the most insane overdrive song yet. It's taken to the limit with some 200 bps sound and plenty of high notes. In the release party video, Miyako said sorry to Asami and Haruna for composing such insanity, and Asami and Haruna showed horn signs to indicate, how fast and high that was and how difficult it was to be performed. Miyako tried some slower versions, but judged, that they don't sound as awesome. Then she thought to herself, Haruna will be able to play it that fast (and Asami as high), thus in the end, it was this crazy masterpiece! Fast, powerful, relentless, awesome...

No pressure, enjoy your holidays, they don't come around again.

My favorite version of Soldier Stands Solitarily is the English version of the Board. Entertaining to watch and listen to the ladies.

I have not commented to you earlier but I have watched all your Lovebites reactions. My recommendation to you would be Dystopia Symphony, there is only audio available but I'm sure it will be worth listening. It's an extraordinary by these ladies.

Soldier Stands Solidarity is an insane song! The only video I know of is when the Band react to all the songs from Judgement Day. That video is fun to watch the ladies having fun.

this incredible song is one of the very few they play that has a fade out in the recorded version. glad they did not try to do that live as fade outs are not my favorite endings to songs. if there is one official mv you would do it should be 'when destinies align'. after 4 years and about a thousand views it still leaves me breathless.

😅There are three links to SSS. One is the audio track from the studio album on Lovebites' official channel. The other two are the exact same video but one was recorded with HQ audio and has the word Premier in the title. Both of these videos were recorded from the livestream watch party with the 5 band members shown on screen in their homes listening along as we watch. The creator of both videos added English captions to it so you can interpret the sign boards that the band members hold up to pass messages to each other. So either video is fine. But the one with HQ audio would be preferred. I can't share the link at the moment but will add it later.

The link to SSS (the band refer to it abbreviated in conversation all the time) has been posted by chadthedragonlord as a separate post…which I discovered after I replied by comment with the link…🙂 There is a live version from a livestream of the Judgement Day Tōkyō concert, but that was pay per view with the strict condition that it was not recorded and retransmitted. Therefore in deference to the wishes of the band and their label, please don’t use it. Besides, it was available worldwide for a reasonable sum, and could be accessed for a week after initial broadcast. I think it is bad form by those people who post their screen recordings of the event, even though they think they are helping the band. Having read your comments I know that you are on my wavelength here.
