Vlad Love is an Anime they wrote the theme song for. It became so popular they expanded it to a full song. Yes these are cuts from the anime.

Miho and Haruna were former members of Destrose. Destrose former members went on to form Mary's Blood, Nemophilia, Fate Gear, Disqualia and Mardelas.

This song is the opening for 6 of 12 episodes of the anime VLAD LOVE. Regarding Lovebites measuring up to other bands today, I go many steps further. In my opinion, Lovebites is the best metal band ever. I say that with 50+ years of metal listening behind me. The thrash/speed of the 80's has always been my sweet spot. Miyako & Midori are my favorite (the best) dual lead guitarists ever, yes, to me better than Maiden, Priest, etc etc. Their compositions and elite level playing exceeds anything I have heard, whether it be Metallica or any other band you want to throw at me.
