The smiling is, after the musical virtuosity, the strongest reason that LOVEBITES attracts very loyal fans. And the band really appreciate every person in the crowd. None of it is false. They are genuinely uplifting and inspiring people.
I can tell they have a strong fan base just based off the reception to this reaction alone. I definitely look forward to hearing more of their music because their music carries a lot of substance in their lyrics and I love that.
I actually Just reacted to Judgement day yesterday. Funny enough, I believe it's the next video I'm going to be editing here shortly but yeah, that song was a bit on the heavier side. Amazing song regardless. Asami has such a unique voice and I look so forward to exploring more of their music!
LOVEBITES - We The United lyrics: The silent dawn has been broken Our fate has now been decided for good Innocence can never be regained Blissful ignorance turns into guilt and shame We must first learn to give and understand That no one is able to live alone There is no need to be perfect Everyone has their own problems and faults Everything is indispensable, Every person is worthy and valuable Don’t give up on your life, fight for what’s right Live on and keep searching for answers We shall go forth Prideful, we stand united We can create miracles Always, there is a way SOLO: both Humans are greedy and selfish Wanting attention more than the respect Recognize the pain that others hide Have the strength to fight even for someone else People who’ve never made real enemies Have never stood up for what they believe We shall go forth Prideful, we stand united We can create miracles Always, there is a way Always, I will be here Always, we will be there ----- lyrics: asami music: Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) & Mao album: Clockwork Immortality 12/05/2018 -----
As was already mentioned, "We The United" is LOVEBITES' anthem, a fun song, a power ballad, the closing song of this concert. Other songs are thrashier, faster, or different in other ways...
Lovebites, is a wonderful metal band. They weave influences of the various metal genres into their songs. As a first listen to them, this maybe not have been the best recommendation but you can see the level of musicianship is first class. Plus you enjoyed it and took the time to read and understand the lyrics. So not such a bad song but this is one of their closing anthems and is aimed for the audience to sing along. If you continue to react to them, you will see how their song are epic, to say the least.
Welcome to the realm of the Wolfpack (Lovebites fans from around the world) ! This amazing band plays a seamless and innovative blend of multiple metal & rock genres/sub-genres which makes their sound unique and contemporary. If you like to hear something heavier, check out "The Hammer of Wrath" LIVE : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pHrWRT0Jeac.html . Enjoy your Lovebites journey !
this is after a yearlong Hiatus when original bassist had left the new bassist they got her in 2022 October and by Feb 2023 they put out their 4rth album Judgement day and in March had a 2 day concert to dvd,cd event which is what this is from
I just want to say that I am overwhelmed with everyone who has stopped by to view and/or comment on this video. I am new to doing reactions and I never expected for my 5th video to be seen by so many. I just want to say that while I know there were some issues with this video mainly the volume of the music. I will be uploading a reaction to "Judgement day" later in the week. I hope those who have stopped by will join me for that video later in the week and I hope my reaction and video quality will do more justice for the Wolfpack who have shown so much love. I appreciate you all. ありがとうございます.
Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about the band: LOVEBITES are around since 2016 and their first EP and album came out in 2017. At this point they have already released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of live DVD/Blu-ray releases. Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band. Then came covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After a break LOVEBITES came back with new bassist Fami and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. A new album with the same title came out in February 2023. The band members of LOVEBITES are (including their official nicknames) Asami on vocals (the one and only voice): Has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch): She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, also she is a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, she loves her pets and Star Wars Midori on guitars (crazy shredder): Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, does songwriting for a few songs, also she is a body fitness athlete Haruna on drums (little big engine): Best drummer in the universe (IMO), wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers): Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger): she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3, also the band was Miho‘s idea, she and Haruna were the founding members!
I'm loving reading some of the background on the band. I did briefly look up the members and I believe Fami and Midori stood out to me the most. Midori's hair and look but Fami's Non-stop smiling was what I noticed the most. I'v never seen a group look so happy doing what they're doing and I just love the positivity and positive messaging they bring!
@@TwistedGunZ For Fami, it was the last song of a weekend show with two evenings, her first ever performance with audience together with (and as) LOVEBITES, so she was in 7th Heaven! She smiled all the time and was happy, and that was very contagious, so the other 4 also came out with new energy and new enthusiasm! 5 months later, they had the Japan tour, which was a success, this year (2024), they are on world tour in Europe (June) and US (Septemper) and only have one Tokyo event (Sep 1st) at the venue with up to 8,000 seats. Let's see, what they'll do at the big festivals 2024!
Ive been listening to rock and metal for 40 years and not seen a more talented and accomplished band than Lovebites. As you will discover their music is diverse, from ballads to thrash. They are the metal queens 👑 For heavier songs I'd recommend Thunder Vengeance Live Set the World on Fire Live Break the Wall Live
I'm definitely going to be doing more reactions to them in the near future. I'm hoping to do one video a day and If i'm able to get ahead on videos, I hope I can upload a second video here and there with it being Lovebites because the reception I'v received has been overwhelming. I'v been recommended a long list of their songs so looks like I'll be part of the wolfpack in no time :)
The show closer to their come-back concert so yes they were happy and this is an uplifting song. I'd suggest that the music volume needs turning up otherwise a good job. If you want something a bit darker from LOVEbites you could check out - Set the World on Fire ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-99zsH6iG_6c.html but as with most of their songs it has uplifting over tones IMO. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Appreciate the recommendation. I just listened to Judgement day which was recommended earlier. Talk about a change of pace. Loving the band so far and appreciate all the support that the wolfpack has shown so far :). Definitely will be reacting to a LOT more Lovebites in the future!

This is an overview of LOVEBITES 55 self-written songs and 3 covers (plus 6+1 covers by band members) with your reaction marked with a star (*). All these songs are great, they have no bad, weak or meh songs, and no fillers at all. Every song is special, you could randomly select a song, best life, of course, and LOVEBITES won't disappoint you. They play many different Heavy Metal styles with a certain LOVEBITES sound, they revive the masters of the 80's (and 90's) in a fresh and modern way. LOVEBITES may have the most talented musicians around, all of them S tier. Drummer Haruna is relentless like a metronome, both Miho and Fami master their bass (for Fami's capabilities, you should visit "Alien Alien" from my list, it's in her RU-vid channel will almost 700K subscribers), the dual guitars M&M (for Midori and Miyako) is most certainly the best duo for trading guitar solos and harmonizing, and Asami's voice is stellar with big range, powerful belt and good vibrato. She is also a trained ballerina with exceptional stage presence. One reactor caller her "Stage General", which is perfectly put. Hard, tight, fast, relentless, effortless and clean, that's LOVEBITES. Fasten your seat belt and enjoy your ride!
That's a lot of songs lol. I have vengeance written down for next week but If I need suggestions, this comment will have plenty for this band! I hope their other songs carry the same uplifting and positive message did in this one. I love the messaging and how happy they are on stage the most!
@@TwistedGunZ This is just for orientation! "Thunder Vengeance" is definitely a Thrash Metal song. It was the opening song of the 2020 concert on "Five Of A Kind" @Zepp Divercity in Tokyo, enjoy!
Great reaction. Your thoughts are not weird at all. You are damned right actually. This is their and Wolfpack's (fandom) anthem, and they have a great reason to be happy. They did not have concerts for a couple of years for the virus situation and after the first concert after the virus, the bassist/band founder left the band for her personal reasons and went on another hiatus for almost two years again. That made just one concert in over three years. This concert is the very first one after all and debut of the new bassist, and this is the very last song of the successful show. Their songs are mostly uplifting and positive. The guitarist with less smile is actually a very happy and all smiling person off the stage. She is the most artist type in the band and concentrate and get absorbed into her performance on the stage. You'll know what an artist she is as you follow the band. She is a kind of genius. This song is not for its sound as music but to unite with the crowd in the arena. You may try some other songs to know about this band but Lovebites is so versatile and in the wide variety. I'd suggest following numbers so far. If you like their typical heavy headbanger, Break The Wall ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5Pc0XK0lNmU.html A most beautiful progressive with surprises, A Frozen Serenade ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ae8pQVu-RN8.html Very artistic piece, Swan Song (has to be this version) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dcMVtrvpJpk.html A ballady piece, Edge OF The World ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UZjxMjBop7w.html The titles above are with the former bassist Miho. She is a serious metalhead and a great bassist, as she is a female Steve Harris.
I appreciate the response. Sometimes I do worry about my rants I go on at the end. From the reactions iv watched, its not something people tend to do so im going a bit against the grain with them I feel. That definitely puts it into perspective the joy I seen on stage. It was infectious and while I'm not good at expression emotion on my face, they really made me happy just enjoying their performance. I love music like this that brings people together and lifts them up. Thats a huge part why Linkin park will forever hold a special place in my heart. I really do look forward to listening to them again. This channel is new and doing 1 video a day is a bit difficult right now but I hope if I can get ahead of the curve, I can react to some more Lovebites sooner than later 🙂. Thank you for the kind words and back story behind the joy I seen on stage!
LOVEBITES is a five-piece all-female, Japanese heavy metal band with deep musicianship (plus classical music/piano background). They transcend gender, genre, and geography, with some 60 songs in their discography. They won Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best New Band (2018), toured with Dragonforce (2019), first female Japanese band to perform at Wacken Open Air (Germany) and others in Europe, and are unusual among Japanese bands in choosing to sing in English plus good lyrics (a daunting task for native Japanese speakers). They play a variety of heavy metal styles and are heavily influenced by NWBHM, especially Iron Maiden and the "big four" thrash metal bands. Their live performances are best: NEW 4th STUDIO ALBUM, 2023 (Judgement Day; highly acclaimed (wiki), Guitar Solos galore): Judgement Day (music video) from their latest album, 2023 (power-thrash-symphonic metal): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m3uGjp-P7DI.html ; Stand and Deliver (music video) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4ImGA7cPyrs.html SHOW OPENERS: Thunder Vengeance (thrash - show opener): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yWE7PqCpGi4.html ; The Hammer of Wrath - new release just over 1 week ago: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pHrWRT0Jeac.html. However, this is their first song from their very first album, 2017, but also the first with their new bassist. The previous live version of this song Awakening/The Hammer of Wrath is equally superb. There are lots of reasons for the happiness. Ill try to summarize, * Lovebites is mainly about spreading positive vibes. * They are back from a long hiatus during covid and searching for a new bassist. * This is one of their first performances after the comeback. * It seems like they are on their way to success. * The new bassist (Fami) is a happy girl and she spread happiness within the group. * This is their anthem. Where they are supposed to show unity. * This is the last song and the audience seems to be fantastic. * And last, but not least, they love to play music.
If your looking for some Thrash like songs, here are some suggestions: M.D.O. Thunder Vengeance Hammer of Wrath Break the Wall Judgement Day Soldier Stands Solidarity Dissonance Holy War Set the World on Fire I am sure I missed some, but they have a large variety of styles that they play for all Heavy Metal fans to enjoy.
I have judgement day on the list. Will probably have a reaction to it sometime next week. I have a lot of suggested music for this band so I can definitely see myself reacting to this band often in the future for sure! Thank you for the suggestions :)
Understood. Ill increase the volume of my recording software when I get home for next weeks videos. Sorry about that. Hope it was an ok reaction outside of that hiccup 🙂
they are far past their honeymoon stage. they are going into their 8th year as a group. the original bassist and founder of the band left in 2021 and they have a new young bassist as seen here. her name is fami and as you can tell by the constant huge grin on he face she is thrilled to be part of this amazing group. you did start with one of their tamer songs and they will blow you out of the water with the heaviness of a lot of their catalog. but they can do about anything you imagine. highly recommend 'a frozen serenade' live to take you on a musical journey : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ae8pQVu-RN8.html
What i meant by honeymoon stage is I feel thats when you're the most in love. They never seemed to leave that stage and what I mean is, they seem to be as in love with what they're doing as they have always been. Iv personally never seen a group happier on stage in all my 30 years of life. It was beautiful to see 🙂
as james hetfield always asks DO YOU WANT HEAVY THEN TRY SHADOWMAKER,HAMMER OF WRATH,BREAK THE WALL,SET THE WORLD ON FIRE,OR WHEN DESTINES ALIGN!!!!! if thats not heavy enough see a doctor. and do them live!!!
@@TwistedGunZ Speaking of "heavy" ... LOVEBITES "Break The Wall" LIVE 2020: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5Pc0XK0lNmU.html One of their 'heaviest' and 'most serene' in one song ! They have 60 original songs, all uniquely impressive and meaningful. 🐺 dreg👁
What i meant was, when you speak is loud but music is quiet. How heavy thae are, you'll see. Already you got some suggestions for the next song. I think "set the world on fire" and "Holly war" should be next.
@@ingopek5485 not my anthem. The song is anthem, my mistake, i was not so clear. About the sound, what he is hearing on headphones and what we get as sound are two separate issues, and can be adjust separately.
〖MC comment from Asami〗🎤 Finally, finally, the five of us are all here. I finally met everyone. The day has finally arrived. Now is the time to be United. This is United. 〖Comments at the end of the song〗🎤 Thank you for a really, really great night.
all their songs are in english except Bravehearted on their EP Lovebites that has 4 songs that later ended up on their 1st full album The Awakening from the Abyss and by that time Asami had converted Bravehearted to English.
Great reaction. Miyako doesn't smile as much but sometimes we catch her smiling. She is definitely the more serious member on stage. You can tell she's happy when she does a spin. This song is anthemic power metal. Asami wrote the lyrics. Her lyrics always have a positive outlook and are very uplifting. I think the line "Blissful ignorance turns into guilt and shame" is more than just about politics. It is about turning a blind eye to the world. The next two lines are about changing that and learning that there are other people in the world. Be together with them and they will be together with you. See a person in need and help out. When you are in need they will help out. To get respect, give respect. Question the world even your own beliefs. Don't be afraid to challenge beliefs. If we are honest, sincere and civil to one another the world would be better. In this way "We the united" will persevere together.
As several have said. This is a bit weird song to see to understand Lovebites, not the best as first reaction. This song is, more or less, a big hug to the audience. Their love to their fans. Its kind of easygoing and they do not excel as much as they use to do. But, nevertheless, it is a good song, perfectly fine to listen to. And as a fan, when you see Asami nearly crying at 9:35 then you almost cry to. Quite emotional.
Wtf? Weird comment about background music! You need to listen to more of these ladies, they are top of the tree. Check out Dissonance, Soldier Standing Solitarily….they do serious and they kick butt. I think you need to listen to/watch more to get the full picture…I’m still watching but one more “weird thought” and I might put the football on
I noticed when I was listening to it a second time that I could understand a few of their lyrics. I will admit, as a native English speaker I never had such a hard time understanding a song in English lol. Ill add judgment day to the list. I love their positive messaging for sure!
@@TwistedGunZ The more you listen to them, the more you begin to pick up the words and begin to understanding them. Asami once mentioned this and said that her voice is like another instrument within the band. Raise Some Hell was my second song that I listened to and the English is pretty good for that song. Tidbit: When they took some time off, Asami did work on her English (as did the whole band). It does show a bit more in the Judgement Day Album. As @UnkeptCanine mentioned, Judgement Day has good English as does Stand and Deliver from the new album.
@@davidtormaschy9988 i look forward to reacting to them again next week. The reception has been really shocking in a good way. I definitely appreciate all the warm feedback iv received so far!
pueden ser muy suaves o muy pesados o ambos. es metal sinfonico no es heavy metal es como nightwish tenes temas como romanticaid o Song Of Myself esto no es heavy metal el metal sinfonico se siente no se grita. They can be very soft or very heavy or both. It is symphonic metal, it is not heavy metal, it is like nightwish, you have songs like romanticaid or Song Of Myself, this is not heavy metal, symphonic metal is felt, not shouted.
Yeah it was more on the softer side to what I was expecting and that's not a bad thing. When I made the comment on it being softer, It was more pertaining to the music my buddy has recommended me. He has recommended a lot of Japanese music and it was soft compared to say, Jiluka or hanabie that he has recommended in the past. I really enjoy softer stuff, most my rap is soft music. Overall it was a beautiful song and I enjoyed it. I do wish I could react again to it to clear up any confusing on what I said. it was only my 5th video so I was still trying to figure out my "style" of reacting and gain the confidence along with it.
