Always loved it when Ferry busted out the Moonman Alias, you knew you were in for something special, and I think this is the peak of the moonman remixes.
You can hear "out of the blue" snares and "don't be afraid" chord progression in this one, always one of my fave peak time tunes though. Proper big room trance banger back in the day.
U so damn right, and they all think it’s proper music🤣🤣🤣🤣. Sad to see that generation losing grip with true music.. that K.pop music aint music to my hears.just a crap shit with boy bands who r more trying to look like ghost and be as whiter as they can be.. i live i. Thailand and its so sad to see all those kids, teenagers that wanna be as white as my ass is. They hate their tan skin. For some stupid music they call fashion....
what a tune I discovered during lockdowns and lack of freedom... I did sing yell Libertaaaa every time that song was played!!! day night whatever it was played on twitch dj sets.. I needed my freedom so much...!!!!
I'm so happy I got to experience this little beauty when it was first released. They definitely don't make them like they use too. Old school trance is still no1 hands down
Yes, one of my fav's, Ferry's best alias for remixes IMO. This one up there with his remix of The World 99', Where Are You Now and Transcend. Sundance remix very good also. Man is a genius.
I met Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz in Boston after being picked out of the crowd of about 3000 people at a club. At the time I wasn't the biggest fan of Ferry's (or Markus') tracks necessarily, but it was still cool. After going back years later and relistening to all the old Ferry Corsten tracks from all his different aliases, now I feel kinda lucky for meeting one of the greatest producers of my favorite genre of music. In hindsight, I think the only reason they even brought me up on stage was they saw that I was one of the few true trance addicts in the crowd by how into the music I was as evidenced by my dancing that night (even though I really wasn't high that night). Ferry Corsten really seemed like a nice dude. And he has made a lot of awesome tracks over the years, especially from about 1998 to 2003 or so👌
Lovechild is Michel van der Kuy. Long time producer, who started first with techno in the early 90s. Formed with Wessel van Diepen the project Partners in Crime, which they released the track gotham city strikes again under that. Later shifted to trance, where lovechild is one example.
Haven't heard this song in ages. A friend of mine made a mix tape for me with this tune on it along with Someone and a bunch of other tunes I love. My girlfriend at the time broke it by accident. Happy to hear it again! Thanks!
Ferry's Moonman alias gave us some of the earliest variations on the classic sound of the dutch horns. his remix of Where are you now also comes to mind
I was going to ask the same question. I've been cataloging all my vinyl on Discogs, incase something happens to me, people won't just off it all to a car boot. This way, a means to sell my collection at a fair price and then the money will be put into a savings account for my son. Currently, over 400 entries, at best sale - £10500 worth and I'm not even 1/5 through my lot.
Ferry produced quite some choons. too bad that he never got rewarded for that on the dj mag list. He did got an ericsson music award for best remix once.
Weird, cause the ones going to Luminosity are the ones who are seeking proper trance instead of trouse. I got that more with ASOT 550 back then. Armin dropped Push - Strange World (2000 remake) and some didn't enjoy it and there was then even one who didn't knew what kind of track it was. That was then in 2012, at the brabanthallen in 's hertogenbosch, the netherlands.
Can I make a suggestion. Can you upload at earlier times? Usually you upload in the evening, then I miss it. I like to listen to your songs in the morning!
@@Locutus Ok, let me know what time suits you best mate and I'll make sure to upload then 😄 Joking aside though, I simply upload when I have the time to upload. I work continental shifts and often finish at midnight (like tonight). I also have two kids that keep me busy throughout the day, so evenings are mainly when I get the time.
@@TranceClassicsOfficial 7am is great, thank you!! 🤪 You can always set the video to become public at a certain date and time. You upload it when you have time, then you set the release time during the upload. 😊 But no worries, thanks for responding and uploading your tunes. Appreciated!
@@Locutus I know this, but once I have an upload ready I don't see any real reason to hold it back. It's ready to be shared...plus I like reading the first few comments from the nightshift crew 😊
