That's my only complaint about Jordan and Amber's reactions. They really need to do 2 minutes of research before they do their reactions. If they did they wouldn't miss out on some really interesting tidbits like the Liv Tyler appearance. That's what makes me "Crazy!"

his daughter Liv Tyler was the brunette in the car. they did work on the video for the song "I Don't wanna Miss a Thing" together for the movie Armageddon. That has nothing to do with the Alicia Silverstone trilogy itself though. they were entirely separate stories and events. 4 great songs in total. I'd highly recommend all 4 and the movie.

They didn't technically work together for the Armageddon video because all of Liv's scenes were taken directly from the movie itself. None of her parts were done strictly for the video.

This video was really big on MTV. It was one of the most requested videos of 1994. It featured the third appearance of Alicia Silverstone in the band's videos, and was the career debut of Steven's then 16-year-old daughter, Liv Tyler. The video shows the two as schoolgirls who skip class and run away, driving off in a 1993 black Ford Mustang GT convertible in a manner similar to the 1991 hit film Thelma & Louise.

"Dream On" was another slower one of theirs you've reacted to, I think. This song was heavily influenced by tunes from the 1950's. That was his daughter, Liv Tyler, with Alicia. And, the instrument you didn't recognize was the mandolin.

This is one of those songs that instantly transports me to the 90s. I thought Liv Tyler was so cool and Alicia Silverstone was everywhere at the time. As a young person at the time I probably would have not really paid attention to this if it wasn’t for the actors. Aerosmith seemed old to me (and I am now nearing 50 and these dudes are still rocking) AMBER: I think you’ll like the movie “Stealing Beauty” staring Liv Tyler. It’ll make you want to move to Italy. :-)

I would love for you to do Run-DMC's cover of "Walk This Way", the video for which featured Steven Tyler and Joe Perry. That video broke down walls, literally and figuratively. (This is going on the assumption that you haven't heard the song or seen the video.) And now that you've done "Crazy" by Patsy Cline and "Crazy" by Aerosmith, maybe you can do "Crazy" by Seal or "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley. (Those are all different songs, no covers.)

Steven Tyler is in rehab after surgery had him taking pain medication. He wisely checked himself in. The band had to cancel some shows, but I think he'll be back soon. Addiction is the scourge of our Nation. Too many ppl get caught up. Peace

Amazing song, amazing reaction. Amber, you're so right, it is more blues (meets rock) and I think to me anyway shows how great a band they are (not that they weren't anyway) that they can do a slower ballad as well as the more rocky sound. I love how Steven Tyler pours his heart out in this song! It really matched the feeling I had at the time. The song you're referring to is “I Don't Want to Miss a Thing”. It's from the film Armageddon. The daughter of Steven Tyler is also the actress who played elf princess Arwen in Lord of the Rings. He didn't realize he had a daughter and she didn't know he was her father for the first 10 years. You will like "Cryin'" too!

Yes that is Alicia Silverstone in the video along with Steve Tyler’s daughter Liv. Alicia was actually in 2 or 3 of Aerosmith’s video from this time period. She blew up in Married With Children and then did Clueless and several other movies, she was basically everywhere at the time.

Steven Tyler is credited as playing the mandolin. Steven also played keyboards, harmonica and some percussion on the Album. Prior to joining Aerosmith, he was a drummer.

Aerosmith are one of the greatest rock bands ever. Steven Tyler has one of the greatest voices of all time. Saw them in Sydney Australia in 2013 with Van Halen. Amazing show and Steven Tyler was the Ringmaster. Couldn’t take my eyes off of him and his voice is killer live.

I get a laugh sometimes when I think of Aerosmith. I was in my teenage years in the 70s. So I had albums. Had a few of Aerosmith. Flash forward some to my oldest child coming home and telling me that this new band was out that I should listen to. He said their name is is Aerosmith. I say, follow me. Went and pulled down my album's and said they are not new. He kept saying " no way". He couldn't believe he liked something that mom already loved....lol

The hitchhiker (Jason London) at the end of this video was the main guy in the “Amazing” video with Alicia Silverstone. That’s why he thru his hands up. It was in reference to that video. The Alicia Silverstone trilogy went, “Cryin”, “Amazing”, and “Crazy”.

Here's a good song by Aerosmith.. It took a blind who thought me how to see. But to me everything Steven Tyler sings is great I've been listening to this band since 1976! I was 12 years old and I still listen to them!
