That is a blatant lie that Loveland had been “nationally recognized as one of the best places to live in the country”. Who scripted that spin? There have been at least 5 murders in the past 2 years. Loveland is quickly becoming the state leader in vehicle thefts. Overdevelopment has caused very congested traffic. Eisenhower Blvd from I-25 to the canyon is an eyesore of blight. Infrastructure has continued to be in disrepair and disregarded by city leadership with enormous funding distributed instead to one favored developer far wealthy enough to fund his own projects yet comes before city council looking for corporate welfare money and getting it every single time. Loveland has gained a worldwide reputation as one of the most disturbing police departments famous for an alarming amount violence against citizens incidents which have costed approximately 4.5 million in payouts to avoid trials by victims suing the city and LPD. Affordable housing is all but non existent here with such a low number of units it’s not worth mentioning. The Banana Republic of Loveland is not the best or a safe place to live, not anymore and hasn’t been for a decade. The deep black hole of corruption within the ranks of city leadership and management flows without accountability or oversight. I wish it was the town it once was but it’s not and never will be again. The damages will be seen into the next two generations caused by a group of greedy corrupt men and women living off their ill begotten stolen wealth.
Btw, I’ve lived here over 20 years and I am very active in seeking oversight and change to unseat the corrupt people ruining what was once a good safe town. But one need only pull back the curtain to discover the truth.
the only solution is for everyone who moved here in the last 20 years to go back where they came from. 20 years ago I bet Loveland only had 15,000-20,000 residents, 40 years ago we didn't even have 10,000 people here....
We moved here a little over three years ago and I totally agree with Jimmyd7443! This video showed me even more of what Loveland has to offer to its residents!
my family has been here for almost 100 years, this town is absolutely disgusting now. I wish the 70,000 people that moved here over the last 25 years would go back to wherever they came from...smh
