@@VPCustoms how did you make the front turn signals shorter? I’m pretty mechanically inclined so if you could just give me a quick description of how you did it that would be much appreciated.. I’m working on my bike now and would like to do it and get it out of the way while I have everything already torn apart..
@@nighttrainryder7339 our bikes both have the wires on the outside, they don't run through the bolt. We have a 2001 and 2007. Maybe that's something they changed?

I love the fact that both of you are still rumbling around on the old 96ci twins. I have a last year 2017 dyna low rider with the high output 103. I’m just not sold on the Milwaukee 8 yet.

I just scored a 01 Night Train that has been stored in a garage since 03. It has just under 6k miles. Everything on it is stock Harley. Cannot wait to make simular changes to my new ride. Great videos btw.

Beautiful bikes! They sound great. My Street Glide does not sound like that even with Rineharts. I’m looking to add a bar hopper. I might have to check out the Night Train.
I highly recommend that you never try to start them in gear, always be in neutral or you will eat your starter up because of the compression in the motors. Those starters are $500 and I changed mine myself, but the Guy at the Harley dealership said that it would be over a grand with starter and labor together. Remember start them while you have it in neutral. Great video thanks for sharing.
Nice bikes. You know it doesn't have to be loud to sound good. I recently went from stock baffles on V&H long shots to the quiet baffles and it sounds even better without giving me a headache from the volume.
Thank you! You're not wrong! I personally love the sound of her 07 with the baffles left in.... We'll see how long I can hold her off from her having me take them out!

For her baffle solution. Big city thunder baffles makes a direct replacement that still provides backpressure to keep the bike happy. EFI are so particular with exhaust that I wouldn’t run it no baffle I’d get some big city thunder and install them. Easily half the length so it will wake them up.
Excellent Vid Eric... Both are awesome rides, and yeah the wide sweep pipes sound better ... lower tone when revved. One point about Your bike is you need to put the front fender back on...... You don't want dirt and mud getting on the fins of your Evo. Maybe come up with an idea that I like that suits your ride..... Say... take the " pendant-rear " deflector fender on sports bikes idea, and incorporate it onto the front forks, so that mud and rain-dirt aren't thrown at the engine, ( or your tool pouch :) )..... Or just put the stock fender back on .....;) Any Who ... Nuff said.... Stay Safe ... Ciao.

That's awesome I'm rt around 100 hp with 103 tire shredder kit jugs slugs head wrk headers Samson headers Rineharts slips big carb Makonie 51 mil intake also 50mil can never spell that carb ya know what I mean alley cat air cleaner cams new hydraulic cam chains tensioner all screaming Eagle anyway I think your doin awesome 👌
lovely bikes bro, HD should never have stopped making the Night train, i know their brought the breakout to replace it in a way, but the night train was the one, and they are fetching high money in the uk , take it easy, ride safe from Wales
Both sound great . The fuel injection bike never sound as good as the carb bikes. But beautiful bikes for sure. I've been looking for a carbed nighttrain that's still in good shape but the ones I've found are eat up with miles .
For your wife check Mustang lowdowner seat will lower by 3/4 of a inch maybe a 1 inch. Something to look at. From a old guy on a motorcycle enjoy and ride safe. Good luck with your RU-vid channel
I can relate! I have 03' Harley fxdx Dyna Night train. Be careful of custom Harley wheels not holding correct air pressure. My wheels are "black lightening Star wheels an neither hold proper air pressure. All your add-one will ten cent on the dollar on trade. So either sale for loss, or remove add ons before trade in. It's good to keep bike records. Do your hands an arms tingle after rides? 12" risers is extreme giving up safety for looks!
carb aways sound better than efi most i ve aways been a old man at 18 yrs i bought a dresser 48 yrs ago nothing rides better enjoy yr scooters merry christmas!!!!!!!

I completely agree!! Both front wheels are made by Ultima wheels. The 2007 is a Ultima Vortex and the 2001 is a Ultima fat spoke. Both 21x3.5. Thank you for watching!!!
First vid I’ve seen. What is that behind the mustang solo that covers up the stuff from the 2up seat. I’ve got a 2009 and I will never get rid of it. I’m blacking out lower forks and doing a different wheel pkg this spring. Nice bikes!
Hey I really love the bikes the 07 really has my mind going. I watch the video that you took the baffling out but with the fuel injected on the 07 have you considered stepping up the cams.
Am curious I have an 2005 HD ST deluxe Carbed and want to know about the air cleaner and breather hose filter setup ? I run a big suckered but don't have an inline filter like yours double filter setup ? LOVE your 01 NT
Take the baffles out and cut them in half !! Did it on my 2007FXST and sounds great I have the big radius also. Tried it with no baffles and had to much popping when I let off the throttle. Half of the baffle works.

Awesome bikes, love the ram trucks and camaro too. Black and gray, my two favorites. I like her bike better, lol, its more factory and has a wider tire and tail light. I do like his front wheel and handlebars better though
