In a world where everyone is going fast, we are going slower. There is no schedule or cut-off time... we love the simplicity of our new normal, the life in the countryside.
We are building our home in a place that is rural, and we started building it in June of 2023.
The exterior it is done, just needs to be painted.
Now, we are working inside.
Building our own cabin is hard work.
We are a couple that loves the outdoors, got the courage to leave it all behind to start a new chapter in our lives, but first, we must build a shelter for the winter, and we are doing this for the first time.
We were off grid for the first 6 months and living in a camper trailer that we remodeled because it was in bad shape (video coming soon).
This is our journey, and we hope that is inspiring you too in living a simple and sustainable life.
This is not a tutorial. We are not trying to educate no one on how to build a house.
We are just doing it because we want to be debt free, spend more time together, and we don't want to live a complicated life.
We dream for a SIMPLE LIFE, yet it is COMPLICATED at the moment.
If anyone is inspired by us, that would be great, we are doing it because we got inspired by other channels on RU-vid.
We started building our cabins foundation piers on August 2022, digging by hand 6 of our piers and the other 6 we have digged by escavator in mid May of 2023.
On June 3rd, we started building the cabin full time, which is 24 x 26 feet.

Thanks for the video on this loader. I just bought one myself kind of on a whim. I'm in Western MT as well, and I'm planning to make my own attachments. First up is figuring out how to make an SSQA plate, then I can use all sorts of standard attachments.

We are using it! Enjoy yours Ours comes without any book... does yours have any. To figure out how much weight can lift, we put 9 x 60 lb concrete bags and had no problem... we were worried about loading more. Also, make sure to tighten everything and add grease fittings/nipples. The canopy is going to fail. It is better to take it out yourself... If you find attachments, please let us know. You can find us on Facebook, search for LarchLine, or if you see us, say hi!

Keep in touch. Someone complained that his roof flew during transportation ( 300 miles trip)... check the roof welding because at the top, it is done badly. Ours did good all 600 miles from Washington... yet gave away during use What auction and how much? If you don't mind...

I have been looking at an identical unit being sold by Ritchie Bros Auctioneers here in Canada called the Traner TR45. Looks like a capable little machine but there is not much information available on either of them. Thank you for posting. Threw you a sub to help you get to the magic 1k for monetization.

Thank you so much for subscribing! We are working on our 1K... I believe the TR45 is the same with our FL 45, and it is capable of small jobs, not too big. We are happy with it.

Thanks a lot for this review it's very useful. I have bought one machine from China 22hp disal engine for my farm and it's under shipping now. I really found what I need in your review. 😊😊😊 many thanks 👍

Thank you for taking your time, too. Enjoy your machine! Maybe you can share your experience. We also got a mini excavator, which is going to be helping us with both types of work: construction of our house and the garden. Check it out If you need more info, find us on Facebook under our channel name

Thanks for sharing. It looks like your tire pressures might be a little high. You’ll get a softer ride and better traction running the lowest psi you can 12-20 psi.

Nice videos. Have you had any issues with your loader shifting? When I went to unload mine I found that shifter arms (on side of tranny ) were stuck. Levers and cables work fine, once disconnected from shifter arms.
@LarchLine
@LarchLine Месяц назад
No. Thankfully, we didn't have any problems except for the stuck clutch that we fixed by using grease spray wd40.

@@LarchLine Mine wasn't stuck but I lubed it anyway, thanks for that! :) Hardly a grease nipple in sight, so I added about twenty. Check your driveshafts, they should each have one (added 1) & u-joints. Also hydraulic pump shaft had a loose one that I replaced with something better. Other than the body mounts & hydraulic hose banjo fittings, nearly every bolt needed a snug. One u-joint nut was half off!
@LarchLine
@LarchLine Месяц назад
Same here. There were no grease nipples on ours, and most of the bolts were loose. Also, some were missing. We did a thorough check of the bolts, added the nipples and greased everything. We are happy with our loader so far and have proven useful.

Maybe you can get a 1/2 inch steel blade to put it in the front bottom of your bucket.
@LarchLine
@LarchLine Месяц назад
We want something that can be taken off. Someone offered to weld a blade... the problem is that for now, we can't find another bucket. We keep our options open. Thank you for the suggestion!

@jaysondelpozzo4477 Месяц назад
@@LarchLine Vevor and Ebay have bucket blades that can be drill and bolted on, might require cutting to proper length. parts and accessories are hard to find on most Chinese models but as far as the snowplow.....if you have the ability to weld, modifying an atv snowplow should be pretty easy to fit to your machine.

I found one for sale near me for $4000 (new)that the seller claims it is 4 X 4 but, your front tires turned while trying to dig into that pile of dirt showing it wasn't 4 X 4.. or is it switchable?
@LarchLine
@LarchLine Месяц назад
The mini loader comes without any info. I dont have any switches to select the traction mode. Sometimes, even the back tire does the same ( turning to grab the soil ) . 4K is expensive. Look for an auction around you. Don't forget to factor in the pickup drive and the premiums. Try to get it from the auction first. They are new in auction

@@LarchLine Maybe that's why I have been able to watch it sit unsold for a month now LOL... Yeh, I thought they sell for as low as $2000 at auctions. I think it's time for me to find some auctions again! Miss them old farm auctions. Then again, I am in Florida...Thanks!
@LarchLine
@LarchLine Месяц назад
If you are lucky, you might find it under 3K. It will be a good price if you can find it like that. You are lucky that you live in Florida because there are some ( manny) actions houses around you, and then the price is cheaper because it might be a bigger supply. We don't have them. The closest auction houses are 9 to 10 hours away from us, and the possibility are limited because they're not too many. I see that East Coast has more action houses than here in Montana. Good luck with your bidding, and let us know if you got it for a good price!

It sure looks like a driveshaft going to the rear axle and I saw the RR tire slip briefly once beside their house, then it probably spun on the other side that we couldn't see.
