They always build a lot of infrastructure in countries while launching their cars lime charging stations of their own for their customers. Due to many regulations, it is very hard. I was a trainee for 3 months in Tesla for their software systems and AI. Looking forward to become an intern soon as Iam going to Germany in 2 months for my higher studies. They made it clear that they are a software company who are producing cars. I enquired about this issue to my project manager. That was his reply. And to be clear, Indian government is far strict to car manufacturers from other countries. Coz of this, we are still getting cars with less than 280hp in the budget of 50 lahks. And Porsches (cayanees and macans) even after having their own showroom in India are still selling above 2 cr . While even turbo s is still around 1.2 to 1.8 cr directly from porsche.

@@dk-ln6om Bro 520 bhp and 670Nm on any other production vehicle available in India will cost 3x more (around 1.5 crores). Even though this is bhp from electric motors (usually bhp from engines cost more), it's definitely value of money in the performance class of vehicles.
